I don't think this has been posted yet. A security camera captured video of some strange lights the night of 7-16-10. Not very good footage, but apparently there aren't normally planes flying in the area.

What do you guys think?

Very interesting. Since it was never mentioned whether or not they live near an airport, this may not serve as a viable excuse. This looks fairly legit.

SUICIDEHK45.....

Thanks for posting your interesting video.

Based on the info therein, it is very difficult to make much comment.

I don't believe prosaic causes such as a plane of chinese lanterns can be excluded.

If pushed for my initial thoughts, I tend to think those ubiquitous chinese lanterns are the most likely explanation for that which we are seeing.

Yeah.....I know.....I'm always the "downer".....

Kind regards
Maybe...maybe not

Since when are three lights deemed a UFO? Wouldn't it stand to reason it's the back of an airplane?

I am a firm believer UFOs are visiting Earth but not every light, at night, in the sky is an automatic UFO just because we didn't have a close up look! If that were the case, all lights in the night sky would be labeled UFOs and the bandwidth at ATS would catch fire and blow up!

Quote from article;
"Steven points out that although Broughton airfield is nearby, planes don't use the airfield at night and his footage was taken Friday, 16 July, 22.23pm."

So we have an air field nearby but is not used at night according to this man.Would Chinese lanterns be giving off a manly white light source are they not manly orange in the illumination they give of or is that something to do with the distance they were recorded at.

It seems that there have been sightings in the past from witnesses over the Dee Estuary near to this location of CCTV footage that was captured.
Not saying that these previous sightings are related but i feel its important to note past sightings.

Past Sightings over Dee Estuary.

"Contributor John was the first to explain several UFO sightings near his home on the Dee estuary at Holywell - and since then more people have been coming forward to share similar encounters on both sides of the Dee, including Liverpool, St Helen's and Bromborough..."

Found that an intersting video. If not a helicopter then I am stumped.

It looks to me that this security cameral was one that only took a few frames per second of video
