Man how do these people sleep at night. I guess they do not have a bit of compassion knowing the seriousness of the having you guys out there without proper protection and getting sick. That is just unbelievable. They should have a commercial that says..

Come to work for BP help clean up the oil and get sick You may get sick but at least you will be working.

I wonder how many people would go to work then.

BP should be cutting checks as fast as their CEO headed to his yacht. As fast as the Chairman was to call us "little people." As fast as their Board of Directors rips through company money each and every day as they eat caviar and sip champagne on yachts and private jets. They don't have the money my ass. Take it from the Chairman and his family.

These clowns need to be arrested and forced to assist in the clean up.

I read ya, but we prefer people that actually give a crap about cleaning up this mess.

I believe this is due to the hurricane that is approaching over there. BP does not want to pay if people not working.

LITTLE PEOPLE, WHAT? These people really are mentally ill, i think they need to see a shrink. CALL US LITTLE PEOPLE. Take mentally ill people off the job, something wrong with the head, when they think that way. It shows you how they think of us. Meanning YOU ARE THE SCUM OF THE EARTH AND BP IS GOD.

Indeed. And the smaller a corporation becomes, the more responsible, proactive, caring, and profitable it becomes for those is employs and the region in which it operates.

BP and all multinational corporations do not care because they cannot care. They are too big to care. They only thing that matters to these faceless entities given corporeal rights is profit. Like virtual castles for the aristocracy. They can ride forth, pillage the peasants, rape the land, and hide inside their corporate castles.

It's not business, It is serfdom.

They do have large egos.

Many of the executives exhibit psychopathic tendencies when questioned about responsibility when it comes to corporate crimes. They do not care and are bewildered when confronted with choices of morality and situations where empathy is required.

They seek profit, not business.

BP employs half my town and I hear theyre cutting pensions massively here.

In a nut shell - 50 people can cleanup the beach in 2 hours every morning (So far) this will change after a few good storms. Alex as far off as it was gave us a good deal more tar patties to contend with, and who knows what this new up and comer will produce.

The issue is so may people were guaranteed all these hours and made major preparations to make this job work and now they are treading water just trying to keep their head above it until the real slicks start coming in. BP is just keeping these people on by a string to see who all they can shake loose without having to initiate a mass layoff which would be yet another public relations nightmare for them.

So, wait, you're MAD that the beaches arent covered in oil?

BP is now using extorted prison labor.

Just like in Red China.
