Since you have seen this thing atleast 3 times now- why dont you go to the store and buy a butterfly net and try to capture this thing and photograph it or video tape it. It may be a new creature!

I've heard of paranormal activity with orbs, like the "jellyfish"you are describing.

This is great. I had a similar experience about a month age. My girlfriend and I were sitting outside just after sunset. The only differing is that the one we saw started off shooting up from the horizon. Living near the coast, we thought it was a flair from a boat, but in never went down. It was a yellow light that shot almost straight up in the air. If I had to guess about 100 yards away. It was small and maybe a better word would be floated ...it wasnt very fast. Then it faded into this transparent like circular ungilating thing. It traveled in a direction that was towards us, and then just moved horizontally, almost parallel to our street. I ran to the front yard and followed it down the street till I lost it. I described it to some friends as a smoke ring that kind of spun slowly. But jelly fish would be a good visual comparison as well. We look out for a repeat almost every night, weather permitting. Still nothing. It seemed about 40 or maybe 50 feet above our heads at it's lowest visible point. But I have trouble guessing relative size.

Thanks for sharing. I was afraid to say anything on here. I didn't want to be called a liar by a bunch of strangers.

Interesting. I would love to see a flying sting ray or a dragon.

I've waited outside with my video camera for hours with no luck. I think because I have only spotted them during the summer when it's humid and probably at least 80 degrees at night or 90-100 degrees during the day. So therefore I have to take breaks and go inside for some nice air conditioning.

photos look fake but i fin d the video extremly hard to argue with.
maybe the oceans are getting so terrible that the creatures are leaving and taking to the air

The video is very grainy could be an owl, bird, or low flying plane close to a swimming ray.

By the way you did describe somewhat what I saw. The smoke ring part is sort of how I would have described my first encounter. It looked sort of like a smoke ring from being underneath it, not full ring but like a snake chasing it's tail.

A few weeks ago during the middle of the day I was sitting outside in my back yard when I saw this white ring that looked sort of like a jellyfish hovering about 2-3 feet above me. I tried to stick my hand up and touch it and it started ascending moving away from me. It looked and moved like a jelly fish but it was ony about a centimeter in diameter and it was white. Though I could only make out with my eyes the ring shape it seemed to have somewhat of a body like a jellyfish, though it was somewhat transperant looking.

I considered that it might be a piece of cotton or pollen, however this had a very jellyfish like qualities and form it seemed to be able to move like it was swimming, or navigate freely, not just blowing around in the wind.

Just looking for opinions, please go easy on me has anyone else ever seen something like this?

Edit to add: It sort of looked like those things in Avatar, only smaller and not the same shape.

No word of a lie. An employer was driving around searching for his bespectacled employee. He stopped the car next to a family walking along the side walk. Winding down the window, he asked them in complete seriousness...
"Have you seen a jellyfish walking down here with glasses on?"

Is it possible you saw a young spider ballooning? Some species like the crab spider are nearly transparent.

Maybe.

I don't know what that would look like and do they take flight?

en.wikipedia.org...

They do fly (after a manner). And they look like a (usually) small spider jerking around willy-nilly in the wind.

I guess that makes two of us. I never heard of such a thing. These jellyfish looking species live in space? I have never seen one in my life.

has anyone heard of the immortal jellyfish?
it mates with it self and then reproduces itself multiple times so it can never die.
