Let me see, left job 1.7 years ago. Did NOT take unemployment.

Thanks congress, for making the money I saved that much more worthless.

I guess when the SHTF and the money supply becomes worthless, wonder what the congress will do to continue the fallacy. Seize assets of people that ACTUALLY prepared for hard times and give it to the worthless consumers of the idiotic TRINKETS that China produces?

Boy, you would think that with the bad economy (well if you do not listen to the gov and the MSM) people would QUIT buying the trinkets like the Iphone.

But NOPE, the worthless eaters have to have the latest and greatest POS crap that just continues the debt slavery that this world's governments have created.

Wake up you FRELLING IGNORAMUSES. It is not mine or anyone elses responsibility, to provide for you when times are hard.

But as another said.

Some will have to go wee wee all the way home to their government provided residence. Their government provided job. Their government provided SERFDOM.

Idiocy. Rope and chains are a GOOD THING. /s

I'm an American taxpayer too, and I hearby give my permission for the federal and state government to use the $50K+ I pay in taxes yearly to support 8 families for another year.

If it makes you feel better, give them your permission to spend it killing more Iraqis or whatever it is that scares you most and floats your boat.

The Republicans would rather give big tax breaks to rich Wall Street bankers & bloat the deficit that way.

Rather than extending insurance to people who were gainfully employed.

Who cares about the deficit?

Not the deceitful GOP.

I hate to tell you, but in your haste and anger to register a sock-puppet account, you've misspelled your username........

synchronicity

Can't take someone too seriously when they can't even register an account properly....sorry

Actually, I didn't spell it wrong, bub. Synchronicity isn't the user name I wanted - Synchrocity was. Thanks for assuming you know me and what my intentions were but you know what they say about those who assume.

Fine with me, go ahead and use your family's money to continue funding lazy, whiny Americans. I hereby do not give authorization for anyone to use my money that way. But I'll fight this with my vote later this year in ousting those ridiculous Democrats from Congress.

See? You fixed your own problem by starting your own business, not by whining about needing an extended handout. You're a lesson to the rest of America.

Actually I'm pissed at any administration that sells us out to any foreign country. So tell me who funded these bailouts passed by Obama and the one by Bush? Ultimately, who holds the notes?

I don't need your permission or approval
Funny, though, most people I know are voting to get rid of all incumbents to really clean house in Congress. But I imagine that might be hard for people who don't see the real disease and are so hung up by the Rs and Ds behind candidates' names. With luck, and despite those who don't see the real disease, maybe it'll make a difference.

You guys are lucky, the maximum EI in Canada is like a year. They extended for people who were "long time contributors" or if you were in an area of over 10% during your application.

However, these extensions are only for 5-10 weeks.

I would looooveeee to get some more EI, but I would LOOOOOVEEEE even more to get back to the steel factory to make my 6 figures again

Isn't it nice to be able to sit in your comfy chair and criticize people and their suffering?

I've paid MUCH more than a million dollars in taxes. The unemployment I get out of my "obedience" is not even a drop in the bucket compared to what I put in. And what do I get in return for my money? NOTHING, except a bunch of people just ITCHIN to see me go down in poverty because I'm too lazy to beg for a minimum wage job at McDonald's.

I've made more money in a year than most of you "Johnny Do-goods' have made your entire lives. So screw anyone and their "judgment" of people like me on unemployment.

You still have a job slave? Good, keep it for as long as it lasts.

When this world resets and the governments fall down, I feel a sort of despair knowing that people like you, who love to insult, degrade and judge good people, will still be around.

What's next? Are you all going to put on white cone masks and lynch the unemployed? Burn crosses in their yards? Perhaps I should buy a gun after all. I can see where this is going.

Well, I'm not going to judge out of work people on not getting jobs because I know our economy is in a state of change right now, but I do have to wonder how many extensions are there going to be? What happens when this extension runs out and the economy hasn't improved - what then? Do we pass yet another one, all the while adding the cost to the national deficit? It's got to end sometime or else we're just digging the hole deeper.

Just wondering, and by no means do I intend to be offensive, but if you "made more in one year then most do in a lifetime", why exactly do you have to go on unemployment? If you make that much you should have your own safety net, much less investments with profit return even while you don't work.

Wall street pseudo gamblers shortselling and getting 5-20% returns playing with stockpiled money really should be ineligable for a social program designed to be a safety net for people who are falling off the wagon, not to give pocket change to people who flaunt how much money they can/have/do make per year. It's just as bad as those who live confortably, milking the government handouts because it is more financially viable then taking a job that you deem "below you"

Man the worth ethic has gone down the tubes. In the 20s and 30s slump, people took street sweeping and janetorial jobs and any work they could find so they could be proud enough to earn a living instead of having one handed to you in the form of a federal handout, and they didn't even have national debt anywhere near what it is now, inflation or not.

The whole system is a fraud, designed to treat human beings as slaves and nothing more.

I want ALL of the money that was stolen from me to be returned FIRST. Then after 98% of the government starves to death and crumbles... we'll talk about what money they need to serve us the way they are supposed to.

I think most of the slaves on this board are on the wrong side. They've been deceived to think that the unemployed people are the enemy...and not the criminals who run this god forsaken recycled waste land.

Treason and traitors are all among us. For those of you who enjoy playing games with people's lives, condemning them and judging them, their is a special place prepared for you.

There may be a time when you need help. You may have an accident, go crazy, blind, crippled, or whatever. Or loose your mind.

Or loose your job, your money or whatever supports you

There may be nobody to help you but the taxpayers.

Your a human being, no matter how tough and independent you think you are.

SO I would advise you to consider thinking with a little more compassion and empathy

Good question, all of my money was wiped out starting from 9/11 to 2 years ago. That's about as personal as I'm going to get. Not because I don't want to tell my story, but because I am honestly, not in the mood to hear criticism about how I should have handled my life and my responsibilities. That is my business and mine alone.

But I'm smart enough to see the Government for what it truly is. An organized crime syndicate who, like the mafia, will exploit, steal and kill anything and anyone who gets in the way.

But don't listen to me, I'm just an "unemployed lazy person".

With an attitude like yours, I wouldn't hire you to pick up dog**** in my back yard.

It's too bad your name calling skills are not transferable to the workplace. I hope you spent more time producing a more grammatically correct resume than the posts you have made here.

Lets see, I'm about 60 weeks into UI. I got an extension for another 100 weeks. Sweet, because I don't really want to work right now, especially for coporate America. I'm lazy and taking your tax money, deal with it. I will continue to do so until I feel like not excersizing my right to collect, or if I somehow die.
