Area 51 as a nonexsistent base

They say that Area 51 doesnt exsist which is obvous that it does. Anything the governmnet denys is usually a cover-up. Area 51 does exsist and could probably be infiltrated with a thought out plan that no one has posted all over a message board. Why post your plan. The governement could easily be monitoring ths message board or even be a member. Who knows?

by the way, have any of you who brought up the subject of getting into a-51 actually tried it yet ?

Good I got someones attention. Why discuss your plan all over the internet. you might just have a good idea but ifthe government is monitoring this fourm thenyou may have given them an idea on a way to tighten up security therefore making it all the more difficult to infiltrate the infamous base. think before you s*** all over other peoples plans.

I really don't think anyone will try to "get in" to area 51. People might talk a good game, but won't actually try it. If they do, then they'll get what they deserve... IMO.

They ( Area 51 ) don't need to, won't need to tighten up security. The base is secure, hell, you can't even get very far on access roads that lead to the base....

If you had a little remote controlled something, and just disguise it, say to look like plantlife or a rock, and just put a camera on it, why would that not work? I can't see the ground sensors picking it up, it's not like it'd be moving very fast, and I think the sensativity would allow it throuhg, they have to have some leway, or they'd be picking up all kinds of animals. The only kind of signal it would be sending off would be from wherever the control point is, but I don't think they would pick that up would they? Only thing I see that would be hard is to power this, as it would need to drive through the desert for 26 miles, and then last much longer. I was trying to think of a somewhat inexpensive way to get photo's of the base or something. Can anyone see anything wrong with this idea?

first off you will not get in to area 51 and second area 51 exists mostly underground or area 51 is a distraction from the real thing. btw why do you believe it doesnt exist yet you want to infiltrate a nonexistent base?

hmm...... you guys are getting good at this. If the base is mostly underground then whats the point of having such high security above ground in such a large radius? Another point.

well because you cant fly aircraft underground so they have to take their crap above ground sometimes, and they want to keep people away now if it is a distraction they have the security to make you think there is something there. and why nevada well that was just the site chosen to test the u2. also nevada at the time was secluded and easy to build underground.

Done Crashing and burning. I have a new theory on why area 51 was built underground and above ground. The underground is great for hiding things but above ground is good for testing. Though you could test certain crafts underground above ground is good for everything except privacy. So i think they just have decoy tests go up to divert the attention away from another sound or craft that they are testing

You are under constant surveillance, if you get anywhere near the perimeter of the secret facility. The whole area is watched by high resolution cameras. There are all kinds of sensors in the area ie- radar,
sound sensors, infra red, heat detectors and probably some we don't even know about. The penalty for trespassing especially during these war times. Probably death.

I would put my money on Area 51 just being a front to distract everyone. They probably have the good stuff somewhere else and the just send up aircraft with strange lights to make us think it is something else. It would be funny if you snuck in just to find empty hangers After that you could take a tour of the prison system

I was listening to story of the year and i realized that area 51 is like a chocolate pie. you get one bite and you want more. Totally unrealted to the song i was listening to but does it matter. Is anyone here over 25?

I've read over the entire thread, and I think the title is a little misleading. I don't gonutsoncats116 was trying to say the base isn't real; I think he meant it in the scense that the government still tries to hide it as if it doesn't exist! Even with the latest revelation, the Pentagon only said that "There is an operating location near Groom Dry Lake." The above qoute is from a 1994 press release. Notice, they said it was "near" not in or on Groom Dry Lake! This proves that even today, there is a cover up associated with the base. While the base is very real and very busy, the Defense Department still wants people to Believe the base is non existant, even though we know that is not true.

The government seems to be the types that you could walk into the room with an alien at your side and they would still say "UFO's and aliens do not exist. Area 51 is just an urban ledgend." That is just how they operate, blatent denial of everything.

The land was really cheap there... well before the casinos moved in that is...

The reason they have a base there is because back then in the fifties they could hide U-2 to the russians, and the test pilot happened to know this place. Later when satellites were invented they couldn't really hide the base anymore and like someone said they don't deny its existence either (that would be absurd since there are pictures of it on the internet) but the activities are classified. My personal guess is that no single big project like stealth is underway there but perhaps different smaller projects.
