In my experience, its usually when you disprove their point, and counter it with one of your own, that they dont have an argument too. Its not that they are right, they just use it to deflect attention from being proven wrong. Its a pretty immature and pathetic come back, when a thread topic turns to labelling people as government agents or disinfo agents, when its usually just people being passionate about a topic.

A disinfo Agent, by definition, is one who spreads misinformation for money or profit.

in my opinion a "disinfo agent" is all the skeptics and debunkers here on ats that deny truth and embrace ignorance................

i cant proof,but i dont think we need proof in most cases,proof is a idea of a skeptic XD
when logic clearly states if something is plausible or not with more then 60% then do i really need proof?

You always need prove coupled with logic that’s the way it works. Your logic could be solid but without evidence it can never become conspiracy fact, and until then it is open to people like me to challenge it.

I don’t think the owners of ATS “know people” as in people who can influence world events. And on ATS we very rarely discuss secret if we’re talking about it, then its because its public knowledge. Now yes every now and then we get someone who claims to be shearing “secret” information and every so often we might hear about a secret. Sometime we discuss things the MSM doesn’t but that does not make it secret. The real secret, the ones we seek, we will never find out until the information is made public, sometimes we can make some very good educated guesses as to what these secrets might be, but they are still guesses. 90% of the stuff on ATS is conspiracy theory and the other 10% is conspiracy fact.

but most of the things we know because of this site, the average joe dosnt know because he dosnt even care,he just watched american idol all day.
and there were some nice leaks in history that powerfull people didnt want the public to know. but i agree i do need proof to make a real fact

I knew quite a bit before joining this site remembers that conspiracy theories are just theories they are not factual. You don’t “know” that the NWO exists you only “believe” it. Mr. Joe only does not know because he is ignorant and most probably uneducated, you can find out most of the stuff on ATS by doing a quick Google search. ATS is a fantastic site, just remember at its not perfect.

with a risk of going out of track,WHY would obama want to disinfo our site,why would he want to end all conspiracys? is this china or something? does he want to silence all the smart people who are always vigilant? its true that 35% of us are crazy like hell but still.

A Disinfo Agent is someone who will try and steer a subject in a direction which will lead you to exactly where they hope to get you.

There are many uses for disinformation, be it industrial to hide a secret, to something or information which does not suit the agenda of a Company, Agency, or just an average person who has something to hide.

People who are sometimes classed as Disinfo Agents on ATS come in several categories IMO, to deny an event or evidence of an event giving you false hearsay or a friend of a friend information, to pull your attention to where they want you to look, IE a website, some document they found, to get you to see advertisements to make them money (popular method here) Fear mongers who get themselves so worked up because they are the only ones who can see what they see, (another popular one)

Nothing gets a reaction to a World Altering Event (WAE) especially while most are looking into it, while the slight of hand and real problem lies elsewhere and nobody is looking.

Lame excuses for unknown or weird sightings or discoveries (make em look stupid, nobody will believe them then) reproduction of the sightings be it in video form or image form (see I can do the same in my bedroom so that's a fake) the constant questioning of the sanity of people who hold what we refer to as top level jobs, Pilot, Missile base Commander, President of the United States, making us think that once they retire their mind goes with the job and stays under control.

Unless they lose their minds when actually still working, then they get to go see the Doctor, but you cant believe them and what they know, because when they were three they talked to their teddy bear (LAME) not to mention the Bird, the Helicopter, the Plane or Jupiter, which just happened to be hovering over their top secret place of work, or flying at the same altitude before shooting straight up out of sight at 2 million miles an hour.

But hey,the Disinfo agent was not there, they didn't see it, just what their immediate supervisor told them what it was which they have to tell the World is the only reason, and they are mistaken and mentally challenged, although many seem to believe the Disinfo Agent actually was there because they know what it was (DO THEY REALLY? )

Then we just have the lets have a laugh crowd, the 13 year old kids who sit in their bedrooms because they don't like it outside in the Sunshine (TWILIGHT) after all its not everyone who is special enough to be a Vampire is it? these kids get bored and try and sell us one conspiracy or maybe a Prophecy, perhaps even a little chat they have with God every Friday night while Mum and Dad are out Socialising, (Crap I mentioned Socialising) sounds similar to Socialist doesn't it? Mum and Dad must be Communists, what a great thread topic, I must post that when Dad returns my computer, which was confiscated when I was caught watching Japanese Animated Porn.

See it doesn't matter who or who is not a Disinfo Agent, if you let them guide you through life, then you deserve it to be honest, Kennedy Assassination, Gulf oil spill, Hollow Earth, Nibiru, UFO's, Aliens we all have our own answers with your own belief, no problem with that is there? you wouldn't think so, yet so many do have a problem, that does not make them a paid troll, it makes them opinionated and unwilling to accept an alternate answer.

But that's alright, ever heard of agreeing to disagree? pity its not used a lot more it would solve a lot of problems while leaving the topic still open to debate and investigation (a word many seem to hate) maybe its too hard for them who knows.

If the ability to agree to disagree was used more, believe me the World would be a much better place to live, however its not and we still have to live with being wrong all the time, unless your a member of a misinformation cult, who follow the word of their favourite owner (attitude King) or self opinionated bastard as they can be known.

I don't know about you, but I think for myself, I do for myself, and I search and investigate for myself, if I wanted to be someone else I would crawl back into the box, I hear opinions which differ from mine, yet some part of that opinion would make sense with what I have found out, so maybe what I have would help them as much as what they have will help me.

I don't however have any interest in an opinion which is opposite to what I have gone and found to be true, I can share that truth, but once the comeback begins to move towards the edge of calling into question any part of the way I live my life and search for that truth, then end of conversation, I accept they have an opinion, and we part ways on that subject, doesn't mean we cant be friends, yet to them my opinion sounds like disinformation, or misinformation, that is not my problem, neither is it my problem if their congregation in the cult they belong to think the same and it becomes an organised attempt to call my sanity into question.

At least when they are occupied with one subject, they are leaving dozens of others alone, end the recent post page, and allow people to drift into their own little corners, make it hard for them to find what they want to disrupt, make them go and research to find the topics which need to be closed down.

Not gonna happen though, to much interest in keeping people looking in the right direction, there is no profit in the ass of the World, just wisdom and truth.

4. Conspiracy Theorists are commonly labeled as paranoid, and anyone accusing someone else of being a disinfo agent with little or no evidence backing it up is proving this to be correct each and every day
5. Calling the other side deliberately misleading because they don't agree with your views is deliberately misleading in itself
6. #5 Only applies if and only if you aren't paranoid and/or delusional
7. This insult is usually directed at dissenters of conspiracy theories far more often than the believers of conspiracy theories

Yes!

If you run around arresting people you give credence to what they were saying.

By ignoring you, they let you defeat yourselves.

If they wanted to hurt you more, they would hire people to post things about "how we're all energy..." and other unsubstantiated mumbo jumbo to help remove any credibility that you do have. Instead of hiring people just to disagree with you.

"Disinfo agents" aren't necessary.

If "they" used them toward some goal, I would say you should give them more credit. They supposedly run the entire world in secret, I don't think you'd be able to sniff them out in one post on the internet.

There is a famous saying - keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer - so that at the least you know what they are up to. This doctrine had been used by the TPTB for centuries to rule us. Only fools keep their enemies out and far away, where they can do harmful things unknown.

Never understimate the Disinfo Agency. They are not the Propaganda Dept whom have to very often come out in the open and say things that even an idiot know it is false.

The Disinfo agency are made up of talents from all walks of life to survey, probe and disseminate TPTB agendas with stealth and intelligence. The real disinfo agent is one that you will NEVER know nor find out, ever. Every day, they study, copy and adapt intelligently, moving with the flow and adding nuggets here and then.

They rarely make mistakes and when they do, they disappear for a time so that the memory of them is lost. The doctrines of doubt will save their skins.

They are intwined and mingled amongst us all.

Ultimately, disinfo agents or the masses, we are all humans. It will be the message that must be critically analysed from all angles. The Propaganda Dept hates conspiracy sites, because it is a site where people will study an issue from ALL angles, and are not shy to use even shunned taboo sources to study the angles, which is why the Propaganda Dept will fail utterly.

Not the Disinfo agents, for they will steathily and slowly switch and turn the direction of study into set paths laid out by their masters. They will even agree with some posts but the switching and direction comes later.

Humans always believe that they worship only the truth. But it is a lie, for mankind only wants reality - the reality to live a life of love, equality, peace, progress and prosperity, even if it takes a lie to live it. Thus many are not awakened nor even want to wake up to our dream masters and instead seek to find arrangements whereby that lie can be perpertrated for eternity.

Unfortunately, lies can only last so long, just as many found out during the financial crisis and then drumbeats of war. Thus we need the truth in order to progress to the realities we seek so that it will last far longer.

Rather than to divide, act smart and precipitaciously call out a fellow brother as an disinfo agent, and build a false case against him, - welcome him in, but RATIONALLY ANALYSE each and everyone's word and post, including mine.

Just as they and their master attempt to misdirect us as usual, so too must we use them for humanity's agenda. 2 can play the game. No more must we allow fear and hatred to rule us.

Truth will and MUST prevail if we are to progress and to last long, if not only for ourselves, families, relatives and friends that combined makes up our societies and world, but for the next comming generations as well. No human is born out of a rock, including our masters and their bootlickers.

You know, in my 10 years online participating on boards and in forums and blogging, no one has ever really copped to being paid for doing anything like what you describe and no one has ever approached me or anyone I know and offered us money for doing this. Is there a place to go to get a job like this?

I've looked, but I've never seen anything that was obviously what you describe. I'm sure I've read other threads here where this may have been discussed, but I guess I've forgotten the answer by now.

Edit to add that I mean jobs apart for the obvious law-enforcement and/or DoD types.
