Being that I am relegated to this area exclusively for creating a new thread, I'll go with what is available to me. Nevermind that I've mused over the board for at least the last 8 years or so. I'm just more of a lurker, than a poster.

Oh well, without further ado, here's the promised cake.

The title refers to Highway 151, where it occurred in the NW San Antonio area near Sea World. It is indeed real, but really what? I'll leave that for you all to decide. I just know that they don't have any shows that I've ever seen at Sea World which would account for this.

Oh, and hello everyone

- Enjoy

--- edit ---

Oh my, moderation comes swiftly here. It's nice to be out of the newbie corner. Still, I've never done a proper introduction, so here I am; A long time lurker, and very occasional poster.

--edit2--
Embedded the video. My eyes can't read that far right button!!

Not exactly the idea behind the introductions forum but hello. And your video bears a strong resemblance to remote controlled airplanes with LED lights on them.

It's also a good idea to avoid auto focus when shooting lights at night.

Could very well be, I've no idea. It's not my video, but a woman who frequents another forum not UFO related. She was rather excited and it took awhile for her to find her cable to download the video. I'm open to whatever interpretations, as I imagine she is.

I wasn't there, and do not know her personally. So, I have no idea of scale, or anything beyond what you see.

I guess I should have also included a NSFW on the audio portion. I did mention the video reminded me in some odd way of Scarface.

As for the appropriateness for this section, you may feel free to welcome me

If you'd of invited me to your home, I'd of been sure to have brought something; a bottle of wine, dessert, etc. I figured I may as well have a party favor in hand.

_____

Yep, that would explain the odd movement. The second video helps with an understanding of how the color changes may have come about.

Welcome aboard, and don't mind Phage, he does that.

Those LED planes are filmed at an extremely close range. The objects in that vid are too far and too bright to be LEDs.

Hi!

That was an interesting bit of footage but it looked to me like the lights were reflected on a sheet of glass that was between the camera and the background.

When the camera jumps so do the lights in relation to the background of trees.

Im sorry if i sound negative.

I'm aware of Phage, he's the one everyone calls to critically dissect every post. A necessary cog in the wheel apparently.

He's right about the auto-focus, and as the focus shifts, you can see they aren't as large as they appear on most of the video. If you look at them when going straight up, or down, they change colors. If they were a plane, then you could imagine the pilot spinning the plane to account for the change in colors. I see it done by hobbyists all the time. It's very probable, provided the scale wasn't apparent to them and the objects were closer than they thought.

I see what you mean. All of the lights jiggle in unison. They could be reflections.

It's just an observation, no need to apologize. The way she recounted it they were on their back patio outside. I think what you are noticing is caused by the auto-focus. The movement of the camera does effect, to a degree, the blurred image due to the optics.

Hello also from Texas.

I have seen about 10 IFO's including one actual landing.

The lights do look like remote control airplanes.

That being said, UFO's which I now call IFO's (because I believe I have positivly identified them) are real.

They are highly advanced spaceship/multi-dimensional flying machines.

They are not of earthly origin.

Don't let the unenlightened get you down on the site.

Perhaps.

You do get a sense of distance between the lights and the camera.

Anyway, welcome aboard!

I've been on the internet since 1992, prior to the web and the Eternal September, so it's not likely for me to be offended by a post.

...although, Phage didn't welcome me, did he?

Sure I did.

Not exactly the idea behind the introductions forum but hello.

In my customary effusive manner.

Are you sure that wasn't after an edit? Ah well, it's probably safe to assume I read it using my web-induced version of speed reading. That's one habit I am trying to break, but some posts simply plod along (not yours, mind you). But truthfully, reading online has made me a terrible reader.

I'd like to believe that it is UFO's but it looks alot like someone has filmed people flying remote plans at night with LED's on them (and yes you can get very powerful and light leds these days that use very small amounts of power, so it is possible) still I hope it and aliens version of doing burnouts in a back street!

You sir (ma'am?), have a very literal mind. I was only kidding with the attempt to shift blame from my obvious mistake. Of course, that trait in a woman is a rarity, so I'm guessing sir.

I'm fortunate enough to have for myself one of those rare women.

--edit--

of course now I'm turning the thread into one more suited for the newbie section with my incessant banter. But hey, my post count has now gone way up!

Thanks and welcome - I dunno if it's RC or not but it's obviously not a UFO in the means you intended.

But sitll.. good catch on camera.

Rapscallion.....

Welcome to ATS!

Unfortunately, I think the lights are almost certainly R/C planes with LED's mounted on them.

Kind regards
Maybe...maybe not
