i'm hereby asking your opinion.......

i've been trying to follow all these threads. for a semi-nontechnical guy like myself it's really extremely confusing.
my basic question is,
what the hell is going on?
are they making improvements, or making matters worse in the long run.
i tend not to believe a thing i'm told by the government or the msm.
is there anything truthful about what we are being told?
can you point out a few obvious lies i can look into?
for those of you who understand the technical side of things, can you give the rest of us a quick rundown on what's going on, please?
trying to find answers in multiple threads full of numerous pages is quite difficult.

Right now they are in a testing stage where they slowly seal off valves to build pressure. This will expose leaks, and they stop and fix them as they are discovered. Once they feel they have all the leaks in check they will attempt to completely close it off.

There is no way to really know what's going on because those who control ALL the presented images and verbal commentary are well known criminals. All the observer can do is take what is presented and add to, take away from or rearrange what has already been presented...

It's kind of like taking a large turd and flipping it upside down, standing it on it's end or painstakingly breaking it into pieces in order to sniff and sample each turd fragment, like they're doing in the "up to the minute" thread, in the hope of discovering something pleasing to the palate.

Thanks for the down on the "up to the minute thread"! It happens to be a good thread with good people trying to find out the truth and learn something scientific in the process. At least it stays on topic most of the time, more than I can say for you snobgrass!

Now if eels can easily handle the pressure from this “gusher” why not the so-called several ton containment device that they supposedly tried to lower on to it? Why did that “geyser” supposedly needing several tons of containment look so puny and harmless to those eels? They didn’t even get covered in scorching oil.

Would you be disappointed if my propositions were correct and the entire Gulf is doing well at the expense of the lost credibility of a single thread on ATS?

Heres the truth
There not telling the truth about the well head pressure you can tell by looking at the well head the psi is low maybe 1000 psi infact i saw a large eel swim rigth throuh the leak if that thing was blowing out around 14000 psi that eel would have been shot out like a cannon. There going to start losing pressure because the morons fractured the sea floor and thats where the majority of the oil and methane are comming from and not to mention a 20 mile wide methane bubble around the well head.
drilling there in the gulf bad idea large methane deposites most scientest believe this area caused a mass extinction millions of years ago.

Well I’m glad you saw the eel and you would have seen two of them in the links I posted. Now to say, “Here’s the truth”… that’s a bold statement because only BP and their ilk have the truth and they’re not sharing it.

First time poster on here, just to say a big heads up for the invaluable sources of information that ATS members are coming along with. Here in the UK we have sky news and the bbc, and STILL they're saying 'BP have stopped the flow. Come on here and see that that's still not the case, why am I not surprised?
