First off I've been called a racist because I live in Arizona and support the new illegal immigration bill, and here and there I have had confrontations with people because I think the NAACP is pure hyp---wait I was going to say hypocricy, but I am wrong because it clearly states they are for the rights of colored people.
Please read on. What I have to sayI feel..
I being a conservative watch FOX, but I also watch CNN MSNBC, and various internet sources.
I AM FREAKIN OUT!!!!All of them ( mostly FOX) have started this "media race war" !!That is the last thing this great country needs!!!
I understand the Republicans smell some blood , because the country is uncomfortable
and the left is trying to hold on.
but people this is not what we need. When it comes down to it I wander what the percentage of people really believe that

Looks like you have a lot to get of your chest. Where to start though? I believe the government is edging on this happening; like Iran and North Korea. Why do we need a race war? That's like people complain that Classism is the ultimate evil. Which they continuity repeat Whites at the top and minorities at the bottom. I always have to carry a barf bag because I personally believe everyone in my country has gone crazy!

This is true but America has fragmented beyond repair ideologically. This will also translate into a cultural and racial division that will imo ultimately lead to violence.



Even on ATS you can feel the hate; especially from all the keyboard revolutionaries and TPM types. Reconciliation and working together is never even considered. It's "my way or the highway" mentality that has become SOP.

How many times have you encountered the phrase on ATS "It's people like you"? See the entrenched division?

ATS used to be a community. Now it has become a collection of ideological cliques and gangs.

You're saying in public "I do not speak Obama." Many people who understand Spanish will just laugh. President Obama is nothing but the Black democratic version of President Reagan. Both were great speakers, looked upon by members of their parties and both know "Zero" how to run government.

Anyway lets go back to calming OP down we don't need any shots fired over name calling.

Well I live in TN and support the AZ illegal immigration law. I even emailed your Governor and told her so, after I contacted my Reps and Sens, state and fed, and told them we need to follow your lead, even though we already have State laws on the books to turn illegals over to ICE. So I guess that makes me racist too. Racist in wanting to see our laws followed.

And you are 100% correct, all of us who were born here, or immigrated here LEGALLY, are Americans.

The term racist means nothing anymore, it being used as some form or trump card amongst the guilty. It doesnt apply to me so it means nothing to me. I accept no delegation of terms that I do not agree with the definition of.
If there is a person of color I dont like it's becasue they are an ADZhole, pigment means nothin to anyone except a racist seeking priority for his own skin tone. Me? I'm way above focusing on color as a primary differentiator unless it indicates a cultureal atribute.

Now I'm sure I'll get it for asking this but I really want to know. It's apparent blacks and whites can't all get along. Why force people together when the don't get along and prefer not to associate with eachother?

I realize this is impossible but what would be so wrong as to offer one state where blacks can live with blacks and another where whites can live with whites and a place for some of us who like being with all kinds of people? Let everyone have a vote on a place where each group wants to live.
I prefer the word cult. Let each group make their own cities, churches, jobs, and life, laws. Is it Mormons that do this? Anyway, Almost like each group was it's own country. We're all already seperated by other things like our politics, religion, class status, etc. These things are accepted but wanting to be with your own race exclusively is not.

Like we have R states D states. Why not black states, white states and liberal states (all races)

I love meeting new people and learning about their lifestyles but some have no interest in this and make it miserable for all of us. Why not give them the choice and a place to go so they can make eachother miserable.

That would never work either... that would start a race war because then we would be fighting over territories. I love it how one guy said Im mix so I cant be racist. Oh yes you can, you can still hate the asian race or the hispanic race. Being mixed doesnt make you a non racist! LOL.... Personally Im over the whole thing. Its disgusting!! To want ILLEGALS to go back where they came from and come back the legal way doesnt make people racist, but thats how stupid pompus people think. Just because the majority of the illegals are mexican doesnt mean we hate the mexican race....it just means we are tired of them coming over here as ILLEGALS not HISPANICS, using up our healthcare, our public assistance, and public schools, and not paying taxes!! Why do they get the services if they are not willing to put back into the pot?? I live in Florida and I applaud Arizona for what is being done!!

What it all boils down to is "THEY" are just starting stuff up against the "White Man".

Oh I agree it wouldn't work but in simple form it sounds like a logical idea.

Now that I think about it, it WOULD work if women ruled the world. PMS yes but overall we're not that into wars. We'd save the world by bartering shoes for oil, world peace, botox and free massages for all! etc

You and whoever is wanting the suppposed "race war" to happen are what continues to remain what is fundamentally what is wrong with our nation.

The NAACP is thus far the only national group with enough cahonas to call The Tea Baggers on what they truly are, a bunch of racist azzhats who need thier citizenship stripped and sent to a FEMA camp.

The 1st Amendment does not protect racist views as if it did it would've been clearly defined in the text of the Amendment, but since the Continental Congress had enough foresight and knowledge and they understood that eventually we would outlaw slavery and that allowed for that. The 1st only protects one against unlawful intrusion upon speech whereas you can say whatever you want and The Govt can't touch you. It is not written to protect the perpitrators of hate speech and racism. Learn your history.

We all run things, caucasian, African American, Arab, Hispanic, Indian, Native Tribal, Oriental, Islander everyone. No single ethnic background is above another.

Using race to divide the people is a method for the clowns in power to centralize power even more. It is a tired, old tactic from tired old men grasping for that one last bit of power. It is embarrassing to watch them try this tactic yet again on the American people.

I don't think it will work because America has gone through a long period of racial deconstruction. I would wager that many people here have family members of another race and relatives of mixed race.

It's not about race and never has been. It is about centralizing power.

I'm Latino/Hispanic and I have Filipino blood in me. You are right though. American culture has a lot of racism in it. From the start of European exploration of the Americas to the current date. You can't sweep this ugly history under the rug.
