The Real Drug Company Conspiracy

A few weeks ago I started a thread called “there are no drug company conspiracies”, it’s safe to say it was not all that popular. Anyway it turns out I was wrong and there is a very real pharmaceutical conspiracy, but it’s not what you’re thinking. If you’re looking for me to start telling you about how the drug companies are trying to poison your mind, control you, make you ill or some money making fraud stop reading now. This is a genuine conspiracy that is true but it’s not on any huge grand scale, and it’s probably more accurate to call it a crime other than a conspiracy.

My eyes were opened up to this conspiracy whilst watching a documentary on BBC one, those of you in the UK can watch it on iplayer. For the rest of you allow me to explain what this conspiracy states.

My title here is somewhat misleading because this is not about a pharmaceutical company but rather the criminal underworld. They are selling drugs online that should only be available on prescription some of these drugs are very dangerous, and to make things even worse allot of these drugs are fakes. This means they contain the wrong chemical compassion witch could have obvious dangerous side effects, some don’t even bother putting the right stuff in the drugs and this could create a very potent and even fatal cocktail of drugs.

Some of the unethical pharmaceutical practice highlighted was the selling of cholesterol drugs online, pointing out the obvious dangers of a person living with Anorexia buying the drugs. Then there are stories of fake needles that could be dirty. Other examples given pointed out that these drugs because where not prescribed they were most probably being taking in the wrong dosage and this was leading to patients feeling more extreme side effects and the possibility of a fatal overdose. There was another example given of a man who bought a Viagra online and died as the result of a heart attack during sexual intercourse.

It gets worse, sadly, the documentary also pointed to instances were not only were these drugs fakes but the criminals has infiltrated the NHS supply chain and counterfeit drugs and needles were being supplied by the NHS.


This is sickening these criminals are taking advantage of people who are in a venerable position. They could be committing manslaughter in some instances. I think this crime will be more evident in places like America were people who have no health insurance may turn to the internet to buy their drugs cheaply again the criminals talking advantage of the poor. I personally think that the online sale of drugs should be regulated in some way, perhaps a online security system developed that shows the buyer that they are buying the genuine product. Until some action is taking this crime will continue and its dangers will only grow.

While it is true the activity you speak of is occurring online, wouldn't you think it's probably the more obvious of the pharmaceutical conspiracies? People who buy prescription pills off the Internet should have more sense than that.

I'm sorry, but the above circumstance doesn't really fire me up as much as my own doctor putting me on medications that can harm or kill me because he believes a pack of lies told to him by the blood-sucking drug companies who are out to make a buck at the risk of my health.

If a person is dumb enough to buy drugs of the Internet, he should expect he's playing with fire. When you go to your doctor, you shouldn't have to worry about that.

The pharmaceutical industries in collusion with the FDA are killing far too many people. I think that's one of the biggest problems we are facing in America today.

Intersting subject, however I think it is more of a scam to make money than a conspiracy. My brother works in pharmaceuticals and in clinical trails for the NHS. This type of thing is becoming more common but is very rare they enter the official supply chain.
My friend bought a POM (prescription only medication). We did tests and did find trace amounts of the given drug but also found beta blockers and lots of glucose.
When you take the risk of self medication and purchase from unreliable sources it's more a case of bad decision making than conspiracy.
A very good subject non the less - poisoning for profit.

In response to them getting into the NHS supply chain I believe it's the unscrupulous Pharmacists who are buying them in as the NHS reimburses them for the genuine price.
When I worked at one of these community pharmacies it was standard practice for the pharmacist to give out the generic version of the drug and claim back for the named drug. Eg giving Ibuprophen and claiming for ibumax.
I guess now they have a nnew and better way to make their money.

What makes me think that Big Pharma and the "mafia" works together to create new drugs is this; When drugs like ecstasy, did you notice that gums like "Fire", "Ice" and such hit the markets?

I found it very strange that a sensation enhancing drug was offered at the same time a new sensation enhancing, legal product was offered to the public.

Plus, these new drugs need you to drink a lot of water, and bottled water was being sold more and more, and now, we have fruity tasty water...

The real conspiracy with big pharma is they don't provide cures for anything.

Cures don't make money, treating the symptoms instead of the cause..makes money.

There are cures for certain types of cancer the actual cost is under $5 for a breast cancer cure. But you'll never see it prescribed when they have cancer treatments that cost $50,000 a month to keep the disease in check.

The real conspiracy is Rockefeller took over the drug industry in the early 1900's. Cradle to grave control of your life.

If they can rob you of your life savings during the last few months of your life they can force future generations to take bank loans instead of getting their inheritance.

The real conspiracy about Pharmaceutical companies is that its main goal is making money. This is it. It is not there to make people healthy - as lot of "field" workers might feel, it is there to make money for owners.
So you have to look at the health care situation from that angle and it will explain most of apparent problems.
