I've seen this many times and really never understood the story (or 'set up' if you will....)

My immediate question....ALWAYS is; why were they filming to begin with?
I apply the same question when I see UFO clips.

So, why was this videograper filming cows?

Does anyone know the pre-story behind this?

I have no reason to believe it is. Well, the original movie could be, but the "special effects" version...no.

I live in cattle country,so i don't think it would be too odd for a rancher to film his cattle for some insurance purpose or whatever. And i think if i was filming in 1983,and saw this happen,i would get out of there fast,how about you?

All that i'm saying is,that if its a fake,it was very well done,but i don't think you can totally debunk this because: We don't know when this was filmed,Why,Where,or by Who? Many were very quick to jump on this to deny and debunk,but i ask,Why would it be so hard to believe something like this could happen? If we all remain skeptics all the time,we will never get to the bottom of the big mystery of UFO's.
