Without taking away from the ecological devastation of this event I will say that could it be ,. that the reason that there was not a large turn out of protesters , is cause the REAL threat as a cataclysmic event is simply not probable?..

Only 12 people showed up to protest...because what is the point. I live in the gulf.....you might find this hard to believe but life goes on.

There is no point of standing out in 95 degree heat yelling - there is no way it would change anything. What is required is patience, hard work, clear heads and American ingenuity. All of which will heal the situation over time.
