I caught one on my cellphone last summer while camping.
The second rainbow isnt very bright and is outside the brighter one.

Maybe that guy doesn't get out much?

I have seen many double rainbows, and although beautiful, they have not quite brought me to tears. I recently witnessed a wonderful sight of a full circle "moon-dog", when a full moon was shining through some high, wispy cirrus cloud. We tried to take photos, but cameras simply do not do sights such as this justice, missing the vivid colours seen around the moon. There was also 2nd faint ring of colour further out than the bright ring. A 'double moon-dog' perhaps. It is quite amazing how light can interact with our environment, and cause various illusions.

I hope this guys ok...

i've seen double and triple rainbows before, they look cool but i didnt think they were photo worthy,

one i wish i had a video camera for though was when i was driving down highway 101 here on the oregon coast and witnessed a full rainbow stretching over the highway i was driving, one end of the rainbow was in the ocean to my left, and the other end in some marshland to the right of me,

i actualy drove under the rainbow, of course once i got closer to it my perspective changed and it didnt exactly look like i was driving under it but from a more distant perspective and as i looked on before arriving it did appear the cars were driving under the rainbow like a arch between borders,

that was easily my coolest rainbow experience.

Yes, several times.

I don't know if there's something different with the light (the sunlight in Portugal is very strong), but they are relatively common here in Portugal.

I See them quite often in Western Australia too, we mainly see them in the spring or autumn.

Like portugal the light is very strong in W.A and we have some of the cleanest air around, may be that has something too do with it, I notice that the colours are inverted on the second rainbow, so it seems like a double refraction is taking place.

well thats my best guess.

i often refrain from saying things like this, but he is deffo way loonie, i mean common..

Omg, what does this grown man sound like;

A supstitious deranged teenager on shrooms loosing his virginity.

I mean its all there; wonderment, ecstasy, heavy breathing, sobbing just to mention a few

Me personally... id say about 6-7 times. Their alot more common than you think really. Its just that Rainbows are rainbows and most people dont even bother to look at em. Also a good deal of rainbows last for such a short period of time you dont notice em before they vanish.

While traveling to Hawai'i once I was fortunate enough to see a full circle double rainbow!! It was amazing. It's only possible to see a full circle rainbow from the air and while over a reflective watery surface like the ocean or clouds.

I grabbed this off the internet; it pales in comparison, but you get the idea.

Thats not a cicrcular rainbow, thats whats known to us weather people as a glory.

Ive also been fortunate to see one with the airplane providing the shadow (or spectre as its known)

That remix was pretty great!

A few weeks ago, I took a video of a double rainbow all across the sky, but it didn't come out great on the vid. It was pretty neat, though. I didn't cry or anything.
