I had a UFO dream last night that seemed very familiar both during and post dream. I am not one who has ever seen a UFO. I do not think that I have ever been abducted either, but this dream "felt" familiar to me as if I had experienced this same dream before.

I currently live in Maine. This dream took place in Western Kentucky in the front yard of my Grandfathers house. Myself, and my father, (Who passed away three years ago due to cancer) were standing in the front yard talking, when we noticed a low flying (100-150 ft) UFO about a block and a half down the road come over the top of a few trees. I remember that we stared in awe of this craft without saying a word to one another. It was flying at a slow speed of about 20-25 mph. The craft came toward our direction and as it passed directly overhead of us, it did a 180 degree arced turn at the same speed then shot off like a bullet.

I remember thinking to myself in the dream how detailed the craft was. The lights stood out as well. I don't remember much detail now, but I would have to say that the craft looked something like a mix between a commercialized looking UFO saucer and the 2007 California drone pics that were labeled as a hoax.

I don't expect much chatter on this thread regarding this dream, but I HAD to post it because of the erie feeling that I have that I have dreamt this before.

Thanks for listening

About a month ago, I was napping on the couch one Saturday afternoon. I had worked in the yard and just laid down for a little break. Had the TV on HGTV and not even thinking about anything weird. I was napping so lightly that I could hear the TV. I had a dream that lasted maybe a minute. I was looking out the door at the yard (contemplating the remaining gardening to be done) and I saw this large craft of some sort hovering over our neighborhood. I looked and saw my husband looking out the kitchen door and he started falling to his knees. I started falling too, as something was making me dizzy. I immediately woke up and still felt dizzy somewhat and had to slowly sit up to keep from falling off the couch. No alcohol or drugs involved, but possibly over-heated from gardening (it was hot that day). Anyway, your thread just made me think about it.

I had a dream that a huge flying saucer was above my house two nights ago. I took a picture of it on my phone and shouted for my mother so she could see it. It felt so real that I even looked through my phone after I woke up just to see if the picture was still on there.

I grew up in Kentucky. I don't think that it had any signifigance to the dream, I just wanted to be as detailed as possible in this thread.

I have had what I guess I would call a dream, although it's more like a feeling while sleeping, since I was a child. It doesn't happen all that often. Maybe once in a few years now. It's sort of like a wave of energy feeling while I'm sleeping. I remember having that feeling back to the time when I was a young kid, maybe 5 or 6, and it happens every few years. The same feeling every time. Really wierd and hard to explain.

I don't remember having a "dream" like this before. As I stated, I was napping lightly, because I could still hear the TV in the background. It was kind of like when the alarm goes off in the morning and you are semi-dreaming (for lack of a better word) that you are already up and heading to the bathroom or getting coffee, but you are still in bed. Did that make any sense?
Anyway, it was so real and short, it just really freaked me out. Just glad it was during the day and not at night or I would have really been scared. Whew!

I had a VERY vivid dream last night..so vivid I can recall every detail..mine wasn't a UFO but a regular commercial airplane (a med. sized like DC10) flying very low over head at a very low speed. The plane had a large horizontal reddish/orange stripe down the side and a logo that looked like a united states seal of some sort. The plane started to dip head down and then took a nose dive/flop across the field. It didn't explode though..people started coming out with rifles pointed at me. I grabbed my two little girls and started to run into my parents house. For some reason whenever I have a scary(end of the world) dream it always takes place at parents home in the country.

My mother was inside and was packing frantically..the news was on and was telling people to evacuate the state..I was worried and tried to go home to my husband. I pulled up at my home and my neighbors were all out scrambling around wondering where we were evacuating too and why. There was a lot more stuff going on..and the dream lasted what seemed like forever..I just posted the aircraft part.

I have had several dreams over the past months all taking place at my parents home..one was where my whole family was out in the front yard at night..looking up at the sky watching planets. The planets were so close that you could clearly see the rings on Saturn..they look like giant science fair planets hanging up. I have also had a dream seeing a bright light..an exploding light coming over me as I lay on the ground wondering if I had died yet.

Most of dreams are standing outside looking a the night sky waiting for the end...This is probably due to reading ATS on a daily basis

I don't dream of ufos often but the two I recall are very vivid, in both cases I was running away,

My first dream I would say was probably about three years ago, I was in a school hall or something like village hall, people were inside all sitting on the floor terrified because of all these strangely shaped crafts outside with search lights, all I can remember is telling everyone to stand in the doorways, I don't know why but for some reason the strange crafts could not get you while stood in a doorway.

The second dream happened a couple of weeks ago, In the dream there were 1000's of people lining up entering the crafts, on loud speakers all you could hear was "your Planet is in danger, please come with us".
I stole a car which wasn't that difficult because cars were just left abandoned in the road with doors open and the engines still running, the rest of the dream was me just driving home and convincing my family not to go with them, the only part I can not remember is whether they took my advice or not.

Those are both odd dreams. This, as I recall is my first dream of such a subject though.

Sounds familar to me as well. I have had a similar dream for many years which is close but not exact.

My dream:

Standing with neighbors, family and friends we are watching hundreds of UFO's in the sky. Noone really talks we just stand in awe and 'know' that this is it, whatever it is.

There is a white picket fence in the front, one of those old fashion short ones.

It was SO REAL each time as if I was lucid dreaming.

Thanks for sharing and keep looking up.

I had another dream last night..

Massive ship filled the sky and everyone was panicking.

Somehow, even though I could not see the occupants I was able to ask questions:

The only question I can remember asking was: "who is your favourite Human?"

The answer was "Niels Bohr"

I woke up at 3;30 ish this morning murmuring: "Bohr? Bohr?"

I definitely had the feeling of benevolence when I awoke from this dream.

That's a spooky avatar you've got there - all I can see is some guy in the top middle with big ears, grinning at me!

My UFO dream was pre 9-11, and in it I was climbing over the ruins of a devastated city. Bolts of electricity were shooting out of various ruins making a loud buzzing noise.

One very tall building had been impacted by something, like a missile, and a voice in the ether informed me that it was "a strike against the UFO people".

Interestingly, it seems people have been having scary UFO dreams for a few decades at least. I don't have the book to hand to quote from, but in Robert Monroe's 2nd book (www.amazon.co.uk...=sr_1_3?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1282680411&sr=1-3)
he mentions vivid dreams much the same as people report here on ATS. And this was in the 60's/70s.
