Why is the media say when a black person is killed by a white that is 'racist' but when a white is killed by a black that is just a 'crime'.

Yes i agree 100% with this but he was killed execution style for the world to see and justice must be done.

Today it was a black guy but next week it will be a white guy and if we start letting them get away with one then they will get away with both.

divide and conquer and the UK is much worse.

We have always been divided.

We always will be, as long as black keep blaming whitey for all their problems instead of taking individual and collective self responsibility.

EXACTLY, it is almost ALWAYS off duty cops who start the trouble. REMEMBER, if cops have nothing to do, WE don't NEED cops!!!!

So they infiltrate the crowd and start trouble. Or they pay some kid or young adult $20 or so to do it. I have seen this done, I was at the Republican convention in Minneapolis and saw several cops hand cash to what looked like bystanders. I also heard a friend, who stayed at a local hotel, talk about a few cops that got into the elevator, behind him they stood and joked about what they had done. Sad, very sad.

Sometimes it is so obvious what the motives are.

Uh Huh. Now that a hafrican in in charge and as is typical of a cutout for some other essentially invisible non-pigmented organization, the 'take no responsibility whatsoever' imperitive is to find 'fault' at a deeper and allegedly fundamental aspect of normal american culture, further insuring that any form of reconciliation becomes impossible and culture warfare becomes desirableto root out the perceived basis for restriction of some peverted definition of civil rights.
Take a look around the globe, is there any single functional free and open society that operates on black liberation principles or are they all tribal hellholes like liberia and zimbabwe?

How about some proof guy that these "black-hooded agent provocateurs" were cops?
I've dealt with these types before and they're kids (16-late 20's) with nothing better to do than take the opportunity to start problems. Most live in wealthier neighborhoods of the Bay Area and come from excellent families who end up being embarrassed by the fact that their son got arrested for lighting a garbage can on fire and he's on the phone crying for mommy to bail them out.
We were watching the news and it was extremely peaceful and I'm very pleased that the community was able to conduct themselves in a non-disruptive manner. It wasn't until we started noticing more and more young white males with backpacks hanging around and not being involved in the demonstration that we knew they were going to be the trouble makers and lo' and behold they were.

OPD and their mutual aid acted with extreme restraint until it got darker out, which is when most of the original protest crowd started leaving, and started clearing the streets.

Off-duty cops???

OPD hasn't had their RDO's (Regular Days Off) for the past 2 weeks! That and they've been on 12-hour shifts too.

What cops do you know that would want to be anywhere doing police work on a day off?

I'm not trying to blame whitey or be an apologist, the profile of individuals that cause trouble at these protests and demonstrations are white males carrying backpacks between the ages of 16-late 20's who attend CSUs or UCs and are from well off families who live nowhere near areas they cause trouble.

I've seen this from the 2003 Iraq War protests, the Black Bloc protest on Mission St (where those "agent provocateurs" hit a cop in the head with a hammer), the Bio Conference, the riot after the BART shooting, and now the events of the past 24 hours. When I start seeing more blacks, Latins, and Asians and whoever else I may have left out become more predominant in the provocation of violence at these demonstrations THEN I'll stop looking at the white males in the crowd with considerable suspicion.

I'm out in the Bay Are right now visiting my grandma. I've been watching the protests since esterday at 4 PM when they announced the verdict. I am also going to be in Oakland on Saturday for a wedding. If anything happens I'll be sure to videotape for the people here at ATS.

We had a mockery of justice carried out here in Houston against a HPD officer. Officer Canales was murdered by 2 illegals during a undercover theft ring bust. They got 15 to life with parole in 30... he got a death sentence. Where was the protests? Where was the riots? His widowed wife and 2 kids now have to face life without him. Where is the justice for them?

You know what? Poop Happens. Sometimes the jury of your peers just doesn't see it the way you do (you didn't see the evidence they did). Life sucks, if you feel that your current situation is bad, maybe you need to evaluate what you can change, do it and GTFO.

Yeah it's true. From watching the news, the Oakland citizens seem to be very calm. Many organizations are coming out telling them to stay calm. The ones doing the rioting are mostly young white college kids who will go bck to their mommy and daddy's house in the rich part of Berkely after its all over. I even heard that the Oakland citizens and the rioters had a small standoff last night.

IF that is true and by my viewing of video I dont see it, so I pretty much think you are lying by evidence of my eyes and your description, even if you were right what does it mean? What it really means is that ONCE AGAIN, the pigmented clan seem unable to represent themselves the way they want to, and as a result are somehow easily and readily lead by what are described by you as intellectually superior white boys of young age, lead and easily allow blame to be shifted to themselves because even if not instigating,(so you say), they caint hep theyselfs and end up representing poorly, finding themselves pictured with the staples of life in their hands (plasma tv and b-ball shoes, scurrying down some alley). I was under the impression there were many asians in the area, ummm, where are THEY on the video? By what conspiracy are they repeatedly absent? Hmmm? Where's that evidence of a lace liot?

BTW, just to make it clear, in my opinion what the police officer did was deplorable, and he should get the maximum sentence that the law can give, however it makes NO SENSE whatsoever for some youngsters to start rioting, destroying private, and public property and affecting the livelihood of people WHO HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS....

If you don't agree with this then do SOMETHING POSITIVE... Demonstrate peacefully against the veredict. Write to your representatives/Senators and tell them how you feel "in a peaceful manner"...

If you do nothing but insult your representatives/Senators they will not listen to you.

What the police officer did "looks" like an execution, and was wrong.

The blame should fall on the police officer who drew his handgun and shot the victim, not on "people/society in general"...

Buddy, slow down... You seem to be thinking at a mile a minute. I'm trying to get a grasp on what you're saying but you're all over the place. Take the time to collect your thoughts when you type and don't be afraid to check your spelling, I implore you to do this.

From what I gather you disagree with the fact about the people that most often are the cause of riotous behavior are white males? I wouldn't make a statement like that if I hadn't seen that behavior from that group in the past decade, with the exception of the aftermath of sporting events, at every single major protest/demonstration in the Bay Area.
