Don't be confused.

That video is a compilation of helicopters with search lights taken with a long exposure time. Some idiot created a video because he doesn't know what he is looking at so to HIM it is a UFO.

It's just a video made by a complete idiot, who stole images from their sources without reading that they are helicopters.

ITS A FREAKING HOAX.

This is awesome, I would love to go riding in that UFO. Has this been proven real or false yet? I really do hope disclosure will come soon. My mother grew up i Tempe, AZ and told us as a kid playing outdoors allot they would always see the strangest UFO's and go run in to tell grandma or grandpa and by the time they got back out, said UFO's would be gone. I believed her, because now she is religious and won't lie. LOL

Guys, it seems really a hot thread as it moving faster :-)

I am from China too, I came across this site just a moment ago while I was following a thread about this event from a Chinese BBS, wantted to see how you forginers comment it

Okay, to the points: this event is really big and hot recently in chinese media these day. If I remember correctly it's first time ever that Airport shut down caused by "UFO" officially. This fact already makes feel interesting regardless "what really happens" . There must be something happen, chinese goverment tends to be conservative in a way of mass media as they are all owned by Goverment. I hope this would be a sign of more and more "top secret" thing will be exposured later on . "they" know they no longer can hide everything.

As regards to the pics on the news, to me , it's nothing but a long exposured pic of a flying airplain.

And forgot about the "Military connection thing" if chinese goverment eventually and officially use this to disclosure it , that must be "NOT" true :-)

the airplane (from KDS a hot shanghai local forum)

2: make it as an airplane

eg: similar one took from different airport . (from KDS a hot shanghai local forum)

You don't need to be a photographer to recognize a long exposure picture of a helicopter.

Only fools need be.

they will be checking radars, missile tests etc,

that is no helicopter,

Thanks PGEyes.

This 'helicopter'.......is a photo from 2007? What does that have to do with this airport incident then.....or is this how this story got tainted?

Did someone purposefully toss in that photo to discredit this event?

I really don't have the patience to read 30+ pages (mainly cause most of it is dribble) so can someone PLEASE give an up-to-date concise recap of what's going on?

Many MANY thanks!

...I still haven't even seen proof that airport was shut down. Either have you...

Why do you even care? Airports get shut down all the time. Could be a bomb threat, foreign material on the runway, it could all be a complete lie that you bought like a fool...

I really don't care why.... But I do care when idiots try to pass a helicopter off as a UFO... because that is pathetic.

That's what I kinda thought. Someone creating something out of nothing.
It's such a disservice to the field of UFOlogy. We advance two steps and something like this throws us back four steps! Ugh!!!

But now, what's a hoax Eennoo? This whole story or the photos?

Thanks~

I don't see the evidence for this being a long exposure of a heli. It has continual mass and verially recognizable aerodynamic surface.

If one takes it to the area of paint/photoshop and "Inverts colors" you can see it is a solid oblect, not a trick of a photo shot blurring.

Haven't read every post in this thread, so if this has been mentioned, I apologize now.

Up, it has, but thats okay. Check page 24, about half way or lower. Posted 3 picture, inverted, and close ups.

Gotcha! Again, that's what I thought.

But now....what's this scuttlebutt that there's no evidence of the airport closing? Are you kidding me? Is this whole story a hoax or is someone on here just trying to throw a debunking wrench into this?

This story is true, right.....?.... (and the photos are not real) because this event DID make their news, right??

It's terrestrial.
It shows up in radar.
It's military.

Debunkers should just take it easy instead of jumping all over the place with their wild assumptions.

The sun has even got pictures of the UFO Sightings. In the image, the UFO can be seen as some kind of flying bus however in the video provided by The Sun, it seems more like a fireball. The picture and the video do not match at all. Dozens of flights had to be diverted because of the issue. It has been suggested that the sighting was debris from a US Intercontinental ballistic missile by Chinese experts. China officials said that the object had been identified but were unable to make it public because of military connections.

well after looking at the picture, i notice a few things, 1 the object probably is not as long as it appears in the picture, this is due to the photo being taken at night and the camera using a longer exposure, which is why the surrounding buildings, trees have that double ghosting effect, from the slower shutter and camera movement. also the object was probably moving at some speed giving it a more stretched look. it looks like it may have a consistent red light, and white lights that pulsate on and off, which can be seen at the same level as the red light, but it seems to have a very unusually bright consistent light on the bottom. the longer exposure may also be making the object look a little brighter than it actually is. i cant be certain, thats just my opinion, as i have many times used slow shutter effects with my camera. here is a picture i took using long exposure just to give you an idea of what i mean.

im not sure what the object is, but i will be very interested to hear more about it.

To try and sum up this whole debacle nice and neat...

The story is true so far, there are have been various reports with conflicting information, but for the most part they all have the same general story - the airport received word from a pilot that there was something that shouldn't be there in the air space, the ATC redirected traffic and grounded flights based off of this and possibly something popping up on the radar (this bit could be considered unconfirmed, due to it only appearing in a few of the news reports).

The images that have been associated with this event are so far inconclusive as to actually pertaining to the incident at the airport - not necessarily hoaxes, just images that are not related to the incident, more likely than not just news agencies grabbing any image they could find to slap on their headline to catch the eye, which is normal.

Nothing has officially been released as of yet from China since the original reports, and it appears that whatever happened is going to stay under wraps judging from the lack of updates.

I hope this helps in some way, shape or form.

- Fry
