..geez, another idiot reporter.
Jim Oberg can be a little bit of a "straight shooter" at times, thereby ruffling just a few feathers here & there.
.....yeah.....just a couple, Jim! .....
However, if you have a good look at his work you will find he has brought some very useful information "onto the table".
I wouldn't simply label him as an "idiot reporter" because to do that & ignore his work is to exclude some very interesting & useful material.
Kind regards

To those who say only drunks and farmers see UFOs, I highly suggest you purchase a copy of this book to find out for yourself just how many high level Government and Military personal have seen UFOs. The media has spun this subject for too long and need to read books like this one to get the facts.
And who might they be? Late-night comedians and university professors? Not anybody we know around here. Straw-man argument. Kean's book is even nastier -- she seems to say people who don't believe in the reality of UFOs are showing signs of mental illness. Sweet.
Kean's big problem in the book, widely shared here, is her insistence that pilots are the BEST observers of anomalous aerial apparitions, instead of -- as research has indicated -- the WORST, for very good and honorable (and safe) reasons.

Holy Bejesus! Why on earth has she included Jim Penniston?! She's tried so hard to keep to the quality witnesses and is gonna blow it with this guy.
Last year, every bad skeptic was happy to dismiss the book because of errors in Weinstein's chapter. They'll have a field day with Penniston and throw out the film on the basis of his presence.
It's like every single opportunity to avoid ridicule is blown by including hoax evidence. Kean should edit him out and make a press release explaining that Penniston is no longer considered credible.

Hiya Space, Jim Penniston went on Angelia Joiner's show and committed credibility suicide. The show's gone off-line, but I uploaded a copy here.
It's a car crash. At one point he suggests that the time-travelling aliens are us from the future and they came back just to give him a message. He then goes on that the future of mankind could be in his hands. Joiner points out that his story has changed dramatically and he sort of self-implodes. His story gets so grand and impossible that I wonder if he's gone a little mad?
If Kean wants to keep the credibility she should honestly cut him loose.
