Kerens Chief Arrested and not a thing in the papaers

This should go in my thread on local conspiracies.

I feel this deserves a more individual thread

I was told this by a friend two days ago.

The chief of Kerens Tx was arrested friday. The intern chief is one of the deputies.

The whole town is talking about it. Yet not one word in the papers. The charge from what is going around is domestic violence.

Him and his girlfriend got into an argument. He snatched the keys from her. The stories begin to all very from there.

A) Trinidad, tx
b) Malakoff, tx
c) Athens, Tx

He was arrested by the sheriffs dept. from my understanding. If he was it was in henderson county where he used to work.

Yet there is nothing in the papers. ....

This is interesting to me. So I went looking for information.

KERENS - A 1992 Malakoff High School graduate, Bryan Miers, has been hired as the new Kerens Police Chief. Miers, 36, was hired and began work on March 1, but officially took the reins as the chief on March 11, after former chief Leonard Slamcik's retirement.

Its odd that someone with such a spectacular record would work as chief here

well Ive also checked kerens and corsicana... Nada

Now several accusations have been leveled.

There was a huge flush of arrest in the area. The new chief set about to bust the drug rings and dealers.

Now this is where it gets interesting.

They added the charge of gang activities to the list.

Ok cool another dealer goes down... Yea

Problem... Word on the street is it happened again in another arrest. Three girls got into a fight. It was added into two of the girls charges.

The common theme is that the ones getting hit with it are black.

None of the two white drug dealers have had there operations busted!



Well if you want to look into it yourself go ahead. I am finding that it looks like it is being covered up in the news paper...

What else is going on:

For a little while I have been aware of a small group of wealthy individuals who control this area. It came about due to a land/ oil grab in the area. I fully believe they are hiding the information.

Its that or his friends in henderson are covering it up.

I always strive to be honest so I am posting this in response.

In todays paper for kerens I found the article I had wanted to see. It was the front page.

I have to take a moment to realise this man has not had his day in court. What I can not get past is the other parts.

I know for a fact that the individuals involved took their time posting it.

I am thinking they ran into the fact to many people where aware of it.

Does anyone know the name of the girlfriend?? It might be time for a ninja style intervention.

The charges were dropped by the DA...

My understanding is that he is already back at work....

Intell sucks on this, but it surprised me on this.

If their was enough to book him on then how come their is not enough to convict?

Are their issues here?

Rumor in town....

she was just bruised on her wrist and filed it out of anger.

It appears that their is another lover involved... other than that the above still deserves an answer. How did it change from enough to arrest for a crime to no crime?
