Talk about Free Energy and possibilities...

Physicists have just found this usefull way of 'tuning-light' to good use....

Imagine Cars running on light directly, ...despite this high-tech-fine-tuning, there is a ofcourse still a huge discrepantie between science and politics and fine-tuning that area would be in everyones interest

I would like to know if some of you have any other ideas to put this technology to good use as well?

(Hey, who knows, it might as well be in use to steer spaceships! )

The article says one potential application might be winding and unwinding tiny things like DNA, that potential application makes sense.

But how did you get the idea this could affect anything as large as a car? As far as I can tell, it can't, it's a technology for very tiny scales in micrometers or nanometers.
