This is a painting of Cesare Borgia, the man who influenced all European paintings, sculptures and carvings of Jesus.

Many scholars believe the image of Jesus has been manipulated, a skewed, and outright fabricated throughout history. This article will address such an issue.

Cesare Borgia was the Son of Pope Alexander VI. In fact, he was the popes most loved and illegitimate son. (at one time papacy members were allowed to marry.) Pope Alexander VI was known for having multiple mistresses

Cesare Borgia does bare an odd resemblance to Jesus. Considering he was Pope Alexander VI son and alive during the same period Leonardo Di Vinci was remodeling the Vatican. Interesting read. Some accounts say before this period Jesus was viewed as black/arab and his image was changed to completely disassociated the whites of the empire from the blacks they had to fight, making it easier to kill their enemies in good conscious. Interesting theory.
