Heaven Sent?

Hey everyone! I just joined ats and already I love it. I am here for answers and to discuss topics with people who are similar to me. I am unique in a way that I have yet to find anyone else like. I am not exactly sure how to describe how I am, but I suppose a broad description would be that I fight evil. I have not exercised demons or anything like that, but I feel my purpose is to do that eventually. I can sense when good things and bad things are going to happen. Not necessarily what is going to happen, but I can feel them coming. Most often though, it is the bad that I sense. I can also sense good and bad people, and not just by watching how they act, but before I even here them speak. At times I can see good and bad spirits, angels and demons. I have been having dreams about fighting evil ever since I was about 7 years old. I am 21 now. I truly feel that my purpose is to fight evil, be a warrior of God (not saying I am an angel though). I would like to meet people like me. Figure out how to make this gift, if you will, into a full blown thing. As of now, it comes and goes in spurts. I have gone months without seeing or feeling anything like this, but it never fails to come back. Any suggestions? I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Does my name give you any clue to my intentions? Seriously though i've felt like this way since a kid. In fact recently wrote a poem about it, debating on if i should post in on here. I once hung up my sword, kept my shield, but now i'm ready to pick that sword back up.

Hello! It is so nice to meet you! Tell me a little about yourself. I mean did yours just start with dreams to, or what? Details please!

Well it all begins and ends in my mind. I used to doubt everything. My friends. family. life in general. but doubting only gets you so far. Life always felt like a game to me. Sort of like, my time here is short, I need to figure things out before I die. An urgency if you will.

When I was 6 I discovered my inner voice. I remember it quite clearly. I suddenly became aware that there is some sort of invisible audience within me. Talking to me.. Not like a crazy person. Just my own voice. but in my mind. distinct from my body, and therefore secret from everyone else. Well this voice has not changed in tone at all, now 24 years later. This tells me that something internally is not subject to aging. In fact, it is timeless.

And so I started to pick through all concepts of god, life, what it means to be.
I dragged myself through drugs and atheism, discovered that UFOs will appear if you start to show an interest. But these things lead to a dead end for me..

I have always had a protective nature about me. I look after my friends and family. Now that I have a son. I have had no choice but to take control and lead the way. it gives me greater purpose.

Mine started one night after I saw (what I pressume to be) an angel. I was about 7 or 8 and I was laying in my bed one evening, and suddenly it got really cold. I looked around my room and saw a man standing by my window. He looked at me and oddly enough I felt comforted. He smiled and then walked toward the center of my room and dissapeared. Shortly after that, my dreams started. In my dreams I am always fighting evil. Some are more realistic while others I am fighting off monsters. I have had dreams though of me fighting in past wars. I am a 21 year old female and I have never been in the military. Overall I have not had a hard life, so I do not feel that my dreams are brought on by difficult decisions in my life. Well within the past few years, I have been able to sense peoples intentions. I can look at someone and feel if they are bad or good. It is not a judgemental gesture either. I have felt bad from people that looked good. I have seen demons and angels all around. I have heard things say my name in the middle of the night as if they were sitting right in front of me and saying it. I have prophetic like feelings. I can not see the future, but I have feelings about things that will happen. For instance, last Thursday I had a feeling that something bad was going to happen to me. I couldn't figure out what it was, but sure enough I was correct. Friday morning on my way to work I was in a car wreck. My car was totaled and I was pretty beat up. The police said had I not been wearing my seatbelt that I would've flown out the windshield and been hurt worse if not killed. My desire to rid the world of evil is so ridiculously strong. That is the best way I can describe everything.

Well ridding the world of evil is a positive thing, so whatever inspired you to be positive in life is truly heaven sent. I did not expect to hear that you are female, its rare for me to hear them talk this way. In fact I can honestly say that Ive never heard one talk that way!

I have had prophetic moments myself, or feelings of deja vu. My mind is very sensitive to the environment. I often have out of body experiences while lucid dreaming, and/or sleep paralysis. Tell me, do any of these things happen with you?

Have you rid yourself of evil? How can you rid the world of evil if you still have it inside? What is evil? If a man steals bread to feed his child, but the vendor he stole it from also has a hungry child he is trying to support, would you rid both of them because their acts are "evil"?

I have repeat dreams of myself sitting in a building in a black suit. I watch outside the window and see a huge tide come at the building and crash into it. Everything washes away and the waves stop at my feet. I bend over to wipe water off my shoes and I hear a sharp whistle and stand up to look, only to be impaled by a spear from the sky through my chest. I look up at the spear shaft and feel very at ease, almost like a warm comfort and slip away. I don't know what happens after that, i don't remember, maybe a deeper sleep. Weird thing is, I have had this dream since i was 12, and I still don't get out of the way after i hear the whistle.

Just thought I'd share that interesting tidbit. Anyway, welcome to ATS!

Yea, I am the only female that I know of that is like me. I have heard some men say they are like me, but I get kind of a bullcrap vibe from them. Ironically though, the man I am seeing now first opend up to me about this. He is very similar to me in having the dreams and being very in tune with the good and the bad in the world. He mentioned this to me before he even knew I was the same. I feel a pull to him and get nothing but good feelings from him. I love that fact! Sorry..kind of blabbing now.

Anyways, I am honestly not sure if I have ever had an out of body experience. At least not in the sense where I am looking at myself while I am dreaming. As if I were another person or something. However, in my dreams(which are VERY lucid), I have seen myself fighting these evils. Most typically I do not see myself, rather I see the fight through my eyes. But as mentioned, I have been out of body in a dream, watching myself battle these evils.

i have a feeling ill be meeting some of you guys in the not too distant future

That is a good point! I know that I am not perfect nor sinless. After all I am only human. I try my best to do good in my life. I guess you could say I deal with evil on a deeper level. Although the man stealing the bread and the other getting angry is "morally" wrong, I would not try riding them. I am very sympathetic for someone who is trying to demolish evil. As I was saying though, on that deeper level, I am more interested in riding demons and satan. I do understand that people can be possessed, and therefore I would not try killing the person, only riding them of demons. Overall I know where I stand with God, and believe I am here to try and make the world a little better.

Well lucky for your man, that you have this sort of outlook because I know I have scared lots of women away with my thinking! Oh well.

As far as my out of body experiences. I can feel myself being lifted up and there is no sensation of a feeling of body. It almost feels like my consciousness is whats being levitated. There is no feeling of arms, of legs, in fact they are not there at all as far as im concerned. Like I said. Things for me begin and end in my mind. I often have the sensation that my mind is the center of the universe. No matter where I go, the thoughts originate from the center no matter the shift my my position. Does that make sense to you?

Lucid dreaming is a very cool thing to do. I can often make the dream last as long as I want. Its almost like im discovering the reason why there is dreaming at all. The further and further I plunge the more I learn. When you fight evil, is there a personification of this evil? Do you have a weapon in hand? Are you more powerful than you are now when you aren't dreaming?

Also, as for your dream, that is very interesting. Have you been dealing with a difficult decision in your life? May you could try focusing/"training" your mind to get out of the way of the spear. Sometimes we can make our dreams go the way we want them if we really try. That is really my only suggestion. Hope that helps a little.

Nah, It's not a bad feeling after being impaled, like I said, it's a comforting feeling as i drift away. I guess when the time comes, if a higher power has a plan for me, I'll either...

A) Get impaled by a random spear for no reason. And the comfort that I feel is the comfort in knowing that I can finnally leave this purposeless life.

B) Get impaled by a spear from an opponent i'm fighting and that comfort is the comfort of me knowing I died with a purpose.

I think I understand what you are saying, thought I am not sure I have ever felt or experienced it.

There is personification in the sense that I am sometimes fighting people. As I said I have fought in Wars in my dreams, as in past World Wars, the Civil War, and so many more. I have not ever fought anyone that I kenw though in my dreams. Now some of my friends have been in these dreams, but they never fight along with me nor do they fight against me. I am not sure why they are even there really. I do sometimes have a weapon. Most typically in my past wars dreams I have a weapon. In my dreams though I do have an incredible strength. I also have "super human" powers.
