Fear is relative.
a member of ATS when faced with aliens will be thinking
well this is aliens!
great! no fear of the unknown here...
which is better then someone not knowing its aliens...
which adds fear of the known to fear of the unknown
which is a double slice.
Also if your mind is focused on other aspects of the encounter, or if it happens enough that you get used to it,
or they feel a little of your emotion and for what ever reason ( maybe not do do with your comfort, but theirs), they might mitigate the feelings or
memories....
After the fact you might look in the mirror no matter how you handled it
and you will tell yourself no matter how it went,
and it will be true:
(satalite antenna unfolding out of your butt or not...)
"That went rather well.....I think I handled it not to bad considering..."
They usually wipe the tape unless they figure you can survive the memory....or unless it suits them that you remember....
or so I'm told.
you may have already been there and done that and just don't know it....
