Dear God, In the world there are starving children, wars raging, peoples suffering for their race or gender. Torture and death run rampant. Natural disasters are shattering lives and killing thousands. Environmental disasters are destroying your masterpiece. Greed and evil is spreading like wildfire and the lowest among us suffer the greatest. Lord, can you help with some of this?

And this is my daily prayer. I was a little frustrated this feat is taking so long but now I have come to understand all of this too, will be repaired in the coming years...within 5 years.

People like this are irrational and can never have an intelligent discussion on this topic. My guess is the OP was not born a Muslim, a Buddhist, a Hindi, a Jew or any number of other religions. My guess is that this OP (who so cares about you and I knowing the "truth") was born an American Christian. He or she grew up with all the born again trappings and belief systems. He or she is not able to see how the fact of his or her birth sets the foundation for his or her belief.

But one thing sets American Evangelical Christians apart from other Christians, most Jews and many Muslims, is that he or she has both the ignorance and the dangerous arrogance to assert the little he or she knows is "truth."

The belief in a Christian-defined heaven is embarassingly stupid. All these yahoos think they'll be sitting next to a tall old white guy in a robe eating off gold dishes and hanging out there for all eternity....watching Father Knows Best and John Wayne reruns I presume.

I am so amazed and dismayed at the stupidity of so many of my specie.

I have done a lot of research on NDE and I know this is not the case. People good bad or otherwise go to a place of unconditional love and most of them do not want to come back. After a NDE everyone of them, almost without exception, says they are no longer afraid to die.

I was not talking about any personal loss. I was pointing out that you are trying to say that while horrible, truly truly horrible things are happening to large groups of men, women, children, and animals all over the world - you think a god took the time to rid you of some bees while ignoring all these other things.

Now that I see you are willing to serve me completely insincere platitudes all while mocking me just one post up, I do not believe you have one spiritual bone in your body and are just another ignorant Randyfan troll.

Can you explain why God is so quick on your bee problem but it might take him up to five years to do whatever you are praying for now? Are you not praying the right way anymore?

An NDE is just that, a NEAR death experience. A hallucination of your senses dissolving. You don't die so you aren't imparted with information of what would happen after death.

I realize I'm now arguing for my own sake, and I'm sorry. To fail to remember you only know yourself is a grave folly. I will see if I have anything good to say or not.

Who are you quoting? The Bible? It is a Book of some truths designed to manipulate people and get them to behave in a way they can be monitored and controlled. It has some truth that is all.

No, it isn't how you pray. It is how many people are praying. There is a tipping point to everything. There needs to be a critical shift in the world view. What will it take to bring that on? I have no idea but I know it is happening and starting already.

Trust me it is not crazy. If anything it is not 1% as unfathomable as existence and it's implications. Any thing is fair game, but the game must be played fairly when analyzing .

When a human sits down and attempts to find an origin, the generator of this fractal, the mind is stupefied and thrashes out to cling to any precipice which can hold the weight of the flailing mind. As time goes on forms emerge out of the prior darkness, and lend themselves for description. And so we think to learn and learn to think.

The reality is infinitely fine, chaos merely being an illusion produced from such fine order. I don't discount the idea of large magnitude change arising from galactic clockwork. In fact it seems quite agreeable to think that change will occur as we sail through these swathes of energy and patterns.

Adding more religion to your beliefs? Nothing will happen on 2012. It's just a bunch of crap that people believe because it sounds catchy. Same thing will happen in 2012 that happened in 2001, and 2000, and 1999, and 1989, and 1919, and 1918,17,16,15,14, and 1891, and 1881, and 1856, and 1843, and 1284, and 365, and 60, and 30... All end of the world or "geat times of changes." All a bunch of crap people made up, believed by the gullible who can't use their own rational thought processes and a dose of reasonable skepticism to think for themselves.

This is the main thing that people don't seem to get.

God doesn't want you to save the world. He wants you to save yourself, your spirituality, your connectedness to the world.

This planet is like "His home". If you are not respectful of it, you may not get invited back.

Every single one of the 2012 followers' claims have been debunked multiple times. Most of the people I speak to that believe in that bull# do so because they think it's the "rapture" and therefore validates their belief. What a load of lukewarm bull#!!

- Solar flare radiation: The sun goes through 11yrs cycles, and the cycle reaches its height in 2012...that was until they measured the sun's output and found out the height of the solar flare output will be more towards the end of 2013. Given that I went through almost 3 cycles in my life, and I survived everyone of those evil solar flare radiation storms proves that the sun flare thing is hogwash.

- Nibiru: Some say it's a planet, moon, asteroid, black hole, red dward, brown dward, "enter random celestial body". It's NOT based on scientific facts. If any of those HUGE bodies were anywhere close to earth (which they should given that we only have 1.5yrs left until it hits) we'd have PROOF. We DON'T. And no, you can't go to Google Sky Maps and claim a "bad pixel" is Nibiru. As for some secret world government "covering it up"...also bull#. An object of that size would be visible to thousands of hobby astronomers...and there's no way all of them would keep quiet

- Magnetic pole shifting: That happens over the course of hundreds and thousands of years, not within a few hours/days like so many 2012 Youtube videos show. Just goes to show how little those people know about science.

- Rotational shift: This could only happen if a large celestial body hits us...we have no evidence of it, none, nada, zip!

- Magnetic shift of the sun: The sun doesn't have a magnetic north and south!!! The magnetic fields of the sun are all intertwined!! Again, total bull#.

- Numerology & Religious predictions: I'm not even gonna warrant this a response. TOTAL BULL# without any scientific basis or proof. 2+1 = 3...OMGOMGOMG, we're all gonna die in 3yrs!!!

The whole 2012 thing is the biggest hoax of the last few years, and so many people make money of it selling books to gullible people. To be honest, the people buying these books deserve losing their money...how incredibly gullible can you be?? It's like people believing in talking snakes, some super human parting the seas so people can cross it on foot, that the world was created in 7 days....oh...wait
