What Do You Want From ATS

First, I would like to state that I adore the platform that ATS provides...

Every now and then, I find myself asking why? Why do we/I read ATS? Why are we addicted to ATS? What is it we are hoping to achieve?

Is this a platform to speak about off the wall waffle or is this a platform to seek a greater understanding?

Why do you read ATS and what would be your ultimate gain or goal from this site?

Are there any threads that have widened your knowledge…? If so please copy and paste a link to your favourite thread on ATS and give a reason why it means something to you.

I'm interested.

I drop in from time to time to see if there are any superb threads or posts of high calibre that are the like of phage, Internos, John Lear, Sleeper, doomsday rex, jkrog (sadly no longer with us) and many others whose names desert my head at the moment. Unfortunately I tend to hit and run as 24 hours in a day is not nearly enough for me but sometimes a great thread or post, written by a true scholar has me unpacking my tent not to engage in debate but just to read.

ATS is brilliant for this!

I also come here because when disclosure hits the mainstream it will hit ATS first.

yes ive learned a great deal as well as inspired me great deal
its been a revollation 2 find out not evrybody is stupid
and without ats i would be lost
i hope to help a few people on their journey witch is called life

Why would somebody have to want something from ATS?

This place is great, and a lot is shared, but is it a want?

I'd say ATS is more of a need.

It's needed for news
in and outside of the box thinking
hilarity
seriousness..........etc

and just about anything else you could think of.

I don't want anything from ATS, I NEED IT!

I must admit I use this as a news site... for example I am very interested in the deployment of warships and general military deployment in and around Iran.

Reading these threads makes me think that something soon will happen, I sense a war.. but a part of me thinks this is a form of paranoia and nothing will indeed happen… what is the advantage of gaining/having this knowledge?

Thanks for the link to the young aussie genius Raging Panda,… I’ve been wanting to read this one for a little while, but found myself somewhat overwhelmed by the response factor... lots of pages to read! I’ve always been attracted to the fake moon landing scenario yet in today’s world not too many care.. I know Governments lie but where does that leave me?

What Do You Want From ATS

In a general sense, entertainment. Some of the most articulate, interesting, creative writers on the planet.

Exciting political discussions with some worthy adversaries.

In a practicle sense, information. ATS has some of the most astute financial minds to be found anywhere. And for those willing to pay attention; stock mkt. tips that can save or make you a bundle.

And last but not least, Ideas and inspiration. As a beginning filmmaker; I only need to read a few threads to have the treatment for a screen play or an idea for a documentary.

P. I can't remember any particular thread but I put a few bucks in the metal futures market on the advise of a member, and have done pretty well. I'm a bit spooked now; might bail.

And I remember the drknite thread and was thoroughly entertained along with titor, and many others.

And for fantastic visual imagery, Antar is unsurpassed.

I am new to ATS, but I like the website for a couple reasons.

First: Entertainment. There is no better place to immerse yourself into the vast world of the unknown. Theories of all kinds abound and its all in one place.

Second: The Truth. I just want to know the truth about many different subjects. I know that much of what we discuss on ATS is false. But it only takes one theory to be proven true to open the gates of information.

And the people are kinda cool too
