In America right now, some one like Moore needs to be careful, because he is ultra liberal, he is considered anti American, not true. It amazes me that the discussion here is about Moore knowing about the abuse before it was publically released, and yet not one comment about Rumsfield who apparently not only knew, but approved of it

Exactly Izzi.

And I'm sure that Micheal Moore isn't going to cash in nearly as much as Bush and his cronies.

I hope your blind partiotism is working for you. I guess since gun crimes are going down that's why you had such a rash of school shootings and the inevitable lockdown that occured in schools. I live in Canada and never once had to worry about some kid at school with a gun or pass through a metal detector.

In Australia, I never had those worries either. I just cant understand why parents would continue to send their kids to a school that requires either security or police to be present at all times. There is something very wrong when your childs place of education requires armed guards for them to be safe.

Statement, false and misleading:

My god people in the States need to get their collective heads out of their arses. What was so unfactual about "Bowling for Columbine". Is it not true that gun violence is out of control in the states? Is it not true that pass U.S. action abroad has killed millions of innocent civilains?

And the intelligent reply from someone wise enough to research a topic before comment:

umm everything and no, infact violent crimes have been going down every year since the mid 90's and violent crimes have increased in europe and canada- so many studies(not just american ones) i've read have shown that as fact, violent crimes havent been so low in decades, that move is full of false information that gives a false picture of america, so my head isnt in my butt, i have bothered to read and search things instead of going by biased false information from a movie.

namehere, you made an intelligence rebuttal to false and misleading information typical of a liberal. The only thing I can possibly add would be in reference to Columbine and what gun control does to a people.

A few facts that the liberal dweeb Moore certainly would not have wanted in his film about Columbine:

In Columbine and all the school shootings without exception, the shooters were taking Ritalin or some other mind altering drug and were into the occult.
Ritalin, almost chemically identical to coc aine, is a liberal answer from the NEA
Teachers union and drug companies for a problem, ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder), which medically does not even exist. Liberals just want obedient slaves to control.

Any research at all shows crime is down in every state which has a concealed carry law for law abiding citizens and crime us up in the cities which ban firearms, just like crime is up in the socialist countries which ban guns

As far as "Is it not true that pass U.S. action abroad has killed millions of innocent civilains? " An entirely false and stupid statements deserves a reply. Here is the answer to that:

What Happens After Gun Control?

Turkey established gun control in 1911. From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political
disssidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Germany established gun control in 1938. From 1939 to 1945, 13 million Jews, Gypsies, homosexuals, mentally ill people and other so-called "mongrolized peoples," unable to defend themselvess, were rounded up and exterminated.

Cambodia established gun control in 1956. From 1975 - 1977, 1 million "educated people," unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated

Guatemala established gun control in 1964. From 1964 to 1981, 100,000 Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979, 300,000 Indians and Christians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Source for Table: The McAlvany Intelligence Advisor, December 1999; p. 32.

So much for gun control, ask the Britts how safe they are now in their own homes these days.

Now we are implimenting gun control in Iraq, pity the people who can't defend themselves against terrorism.

Good history lesson Ghost, however most of those stats are from non-democratic countries that had questionable human rights policies. If you want to insult me then go ahead. I'm not the one that needs a bulletproof vest to go the liquor store or go to school. I live in one of the most heavily armed countries per capita and our gun related violence is about 5% of yours.

I'm not saying Micheal Moore has the answers, he has just taken a lot of evidence that is out on the open press and tied it together to form an opinion on what he believes to be the truth. He may not have a clue as to what's going on, but he is allowed to express those views and people that want to see and hear his views have that right. I'm clad to see a Canadian company picked up the production rights for North America. We don't believe in censorship.
