This thread should probably be moved to the hoax section, the images in draknoir2 post clearly showed its just a stretched crater. Too bad though, thats way less exciting than an alien base...

Yeah -- but for some reason, there are some people on ATS who would rather believe the "exciting" explanation -- just because it IS exciting -- rather than believing the mundane explanation.

Their excitement clouds their judgment.

Ok, when are we going to get some real good pics or footage of alien beings/civilizations? I want to look at pics of the moon and actually see a "huge structure" on the danged moon! I'm tired of airbrushed and stretched photos, hoaxes and lies. They are vague and could be seen as alien structures or cracks on the surface.

I guess I really want to be shocked by what I see for once.

If you actually knew what you *snip* were talking about you'd see that "artifact LOL" is 49km across. It doesn't exist on newer photos because they have much more detail that shows that nothing is there. Not forgetting the FACT any idiot would be able to get a telescope and see that 49km across "LOL artifact"

You know that the far side of the moon never faces the Earth... Right?

The website is perfectly fine, what ever program you are using must be set on lock down mode. And in regards to the link I posted, its one of many. I was trying to point out the many anomalies of our moon, which are not silly, nor are they nonsense, and they have interested many scientific minds throughout this century, only to be ignored and laughed at by the "Infinitely Wise" scientific community. Again a simple Google search of the topic will bring up days of information; sift through the Bull Sh*t and you'll start to put the puzzle together.

Our proof is approximately the same as yours. It's just obvious that it's a data error. The difference is, none of you want there not to be aliens on the moon; I actually want to believe. Combine that desire to believe with But it's pretty obviously an artifact of the insignificant sort.

That speculation is widely considered to be bunk, and there was recently a thread where the very speculation to which I believe you refer was decimated. Unfortunately, it was too long ago for me to have a super easy time finding it. If it comes up again, I'll do a deeper search.

Anyway, it's not so hard to believe that there is other life besides OURS. It's just taking too much imagination to believe that this is evidence of them.

If you actually went and compared the two images on Google Moon you would see that the area has been heavily edited in newer images, which shouldn't surprise anyone who has actually looked into things like this. There have been several cases where it has been proven that editing has occurred in photos from the moon, mars and earth. I for one am a supporter of Gary Mckinnon, and according to him he found evidence that NASA was in fact tampering with photographs, he's now going away to prison for 80 years.

Gary McKinnon he said he was taking drugs when he hacked the computers so you cant really trust a thing HE claims

I myself, am quite skeptical, about "things on the moon"- BUT- NASA (Never A Straight Answer), is CERTAINLY going to a LOT of trouble, to HIDE things!
BTW- at LEAST, no-one said, "the DARK side of the moon", LOLPIP!!
I'd DEFINATELY take a trip to the moon, even if it was one-way. I WANT TO SEE FOR MYSELF, WHAT is there!!!

I'm tired of obvious hoaxes, and even MORE tired, of seeing photo-shopped pictures, that are OBVIOUSLY hiding something.

Great find OP, yet another photo from NASA being manipulated.

Wasn't there few people during Disclosure conference working for NASA said there were thousands of photos (some with UFO) that were treated seperately and being edited for the public view? Which caused Gary to hack into NASA and he also proved for it to be true?

Anyhow for those that don't believe this is real... tell me the LAST thing NASA or Government told you that was TRUE or in ANY shape beneficial for the people?! ONE thing from the last few decades... NOTHING> So grow up... learn to accept you're being lied to, and START looking for the truth.

This kind of crap has been going for decades, you either start accepting the possibilities or just live in your delusional world as it's fixated for you.

The original image is NOT stretched, as you can see the craters all being same size form old and new, if it was stretched that all that area would be stretched. Secondly, noticed in the 2000 image where the OP has circled the missing structure... notice how there are "rips and tears" in that exact area (middle of the red circle)? This is due to "stamping" an image form one area to another... but they screwed up and not cleared the edge.

I do this type of work and I'm telling you, the 2000 image has been manipulated... and who ever doing it, did a crappy job of it. Either this was done years ago... (when some of the tools that make this easy not available in Photoshop) or just bad editor.

If you look carefully I'm almost certain you can find that exact shape crater (smaller circles) with that exact formation else where on the same image. I'll start looking for it.. when I'm off work, if no one else beats me to it.

WOW... he's only saying what he's saying, because that's he's ONLY hope to get reduced sentence... it's a legal strategy their using on his behalf... not that he didn't know what the hell he was doing... if he was on that much drugs (which again does not alter a view from seeing a UFO to not) then how the hell was he able to "hack" into government computers for over few years?! Straight minded, above average IQ Joe will have a hard time trying to figure out how to hack into NASA... use your common sense, before passing a shallow judgment on someone.

To me, this sounds like he might have hacked into somebody's personal Star Trek on-line RPG or something like that. Or maybe somebody keeping a bunch of files downloaded from links found on ATS. Some nerd with an interest in this kind of junk.

The more and more I visit ATS I am convinced its disinfo. Sorry if that ruffles any feathers but c'mon.

Everything is either debunked straight away now or Phage is called upon to offer an explanation when the evidence is too strong.

Actually, disinformation is nonsense presented as real, positive proof, and is made to cloud the water and keep people from discovering the (possible) real truth among the junk.

Debunking is an attempt to try and clear away all the nonsense so that the cream has a chance to float to the top, so to speak.

Indeed my friend, this is why so many old posters that were focused on the Alien/UFO forum are no longer active. Because of few so called "skeptics", which mean blindly yell out ONE plausible solution and call it a "debunk". It is sad, that these so called "skeptics" have not really learned to be a TRUE skeptic, which means to debate ANY possibility and be open to be WRONG... and so many just accept it, because this ONE possible answer is good enough... and they slowly go back to sleep.

you are being told lies... after lies... from NASA and Government at least for the last few decades, wake the hell up and accept the true reality of what is really going on.... there are MANY intellectual life forms OUT there and many have made attempts to contact us, but unless we ACCEPT the possibility they will not disclose themselves. There has been MANY, MANY evidence about dark side of the moon, that has either current or old civilizations on it anything from hundreds of these so called "bad images" and hundreds of people (including some president(s) and high ranking officials) that worked in these areas that have witnessed full cover ups.

So either accept what few so called "skeptics" tell you... or use your common scene and listen to both sides and do your OWN investigations.

You'll be surprised what you'll discover, only if you OPEN yourself to possibilities, with an unbiased perspective.

Actually, I think (IMHO) this has been reasonably and clearly shown to be just an image artifact -- a stretched image of some craters. AND it has been done so without Phage.

I personally would find it very exciting to find out that there are ancient or alien structures on the Moon. HOWEVER, my personal "excitement" should not cloud my judgment and logic.

What people *want* to believe should not affect critical thinking and reasoning. I think too many people let what they believe overtake their reasoning. Some people can't seem to separate the two.

So don't blame "disinfo" if this picture does not hold up under critical scrutiny. Sometimes what some people are claiming to be a stretched image of a crater is actually just a stretched image of a crater. Playing the "Disinfo Agents!" card doesn't change that.
