Hey guys,

I know that the Betty and Barney Hill case has been discussed many times on ATS.
But seeing as how a real in depth thread on it is waay back from 2005, I figured I would share this new documentary I found staring Betty and Barney Hill's niece, Kathleen Marden.

The documentary came out this month (to the best of my knowledge) and is entitled "The White Mountain Abduction"

I did a search and could not find mention of this new documentary.

It seems to offer a new perspective on the case, with her sharing all she knows about what happened to her Aunt and Uncle.

Also apparently the niece and the show's producer returned to the actual abduction site, on the anniversary of the occurrence, and managed to capture a UFO that materialized up in the night sky behind them, as they were filming! Quite the coincidence if you ask me....maybe the same ET's who picked up Betty and Barney a half-century ago?

Enjoy!!

Thanks for the post Geminisky. I listened to the recent interview Kathleen did with Stanton Freidman on C2C. It resparked my interest in this case. I will watch the documentary asap. Did not know she had a new documentary, again thanks for the post.

Yes, it was the full 3 hours of a C2C show just a couple of weeks ago. You could look it up on C2C archives. Sorry I can't remember the exact date.Stanton was great of course and provided some great imfo on the case, some that I had not been aware of before.

I would like to see some sort of video analysis or enhancement of the UFO footage captured in the documentary. Maybe brighten up the sky and zoom in a bit on the object?

I wonder if anyone has the required video editing software on ATS....

The book "Captured! The Betty and Barney Hill UFO Experience: The True Story of the World's First Documented Alien Abduction" by Stanton Friedman and Kathleen Marden is a good one that has much new information on the Hill case. I urge you to go to the library and read this book that shows the Hill case is one of the best ones of alien contact.

One thing that has ALWAYS fascinated me was the accuracy with which they were able to remember the star map shown to them by the ET's

(not quite the full image, still gettin the hang of this)

It would be pointless to do any type of analysis on the youtube footage. Someone would need to get hold of the hi-def version before any type of qualified assessment could be made.

So what you are saying is that all the analysis that Ive seen done on you tube videos are pointless?

I could have sworn ive seen video analysis done on ATS on non-HD videos, proving or disproving certain videos in the past.

I may be wrong. I will see if theres an Hq or hd version of this doc.

Even the doc that i saw on youtube was pretty clear with the lights behind stanton, one light went out another came on but it's impossible to analyse because we don't know what was in that area at the time.

If you are ever in that area my parents own the gas station opposite to where the abduction took place called the 'Notch Express'.

Inside there is a little museum dedicated to incident.

No way? Really? Did your parents witness the film crew (i think this was filmed towards the end of last year)

Have they reported any sightings of their own in the area? Would be interesting if they did!

There is a BIG coincidence here . This abduction happened in White mountain in New Hampshire .

The other famous abduction The Walton experience book or the movie A Fire In The Sky . From a small town in AZ called Snowflake which resides in the area called White mountains .

www.azwhitemountains.net...

Kinda a odd occurrence I seem to recall that part of AZ has also had alot of sightings .

Yes way!

No. They moved back to England last July, so would not have seen this film crew. However they still own the store.

The museum is in the Lavatory of the station.
Sounds terrible i know, but it is actually pretty cool. Kudos to my Father.

They haven't told me anything about any sightings.

Although the whole thing got me interested in the story. Seems quite believeable as the Hill's seemed like people of a sound mind and they gave a great description of the event.

Dude this video is extremely enjoyable and interesting, particularly when the lights show up while Stanton + the niece are in that field...Makes one want to go picnicking in that field immediately, yep-yep.

Glad you enjoyed it...makes me wonder if the ETs knew what was being filmed and purposely made themselves known....as for the picnic? No thanks, the thought of being probed kills my appetite

Sure... Youtubes can be analyzed but they are generally just a big mess of pixels and artifacts. If you're working towards a more definitive answer, then the quality of the film is paramount.

In any case, I'm sure Stanton & Co have probably already done it. I doubt he would rest on his laurels and wait for some guys from a conspiracy forum to do his investigations for him. If he hasn't then I would find that to be questionable behavior from one of the worlds foremost Ufologists.

Have you found any interviews where Stanton brings up this footage? If so, what did he say about it?
