We ought to be thankful he was born and lived when he did. At least he had the opportunity to invent and share his inventions with the world, and that they were put into use.

Had he born say, in the 1960's, I'v venture to say that his work would be deemed too radical and he would meet with an unfortunate accident as so many others have.

Tesla was not a businessman. He trusted others too much. All he wanted to do was experiment and, ultimately, try to help his fellow man. He wanted to give all of us limitless energy for free, but even 100 years ago OIL was KING and ruled the economic world.

And the sad thing is, I never read about Tesla (the man) in high school. Didn't even hear of him until much later. For a man of such greatness to be left out of most school science books in favor of Edison and his accomplishments is a testament of just how much Tesla's genius was loathed by those in power.

You can still see the building and pad where the tower was using Google Earth or Bing. It's erie in a good way. Amazing when you think about who and what was there.

I must say since discovering Tesla what he did has really made a big impression on me. I was just on Google Earth and was very interested to see it was close to Montauk.

I read a thread here at ATS the other day about it and that there was a secret US military base there. Would it be possible that his inventions were moved there by the army to study his experiments further?!

I don't have any proof of this just a thought, use it, don't use it

Edison is celebrated as the genius simply because the bankers (and JP Morgan specifically) realized that his version of electric current over wires could be charged for, and Tesla's version would be free.

Free power for the masses? What horror!

Tesla was widely discredited by JP Morgan, despite his ideas and inventions being decades ahead of Edison's.

If the world had of adopted Tesla's ideas, we would never pay the power company for our power, we would have free access to cell phone and television signals, and all cars would be electric freely using that free power - we would never have to fill up our cars and oil usage for gasoline would be a footnote in history "oh, little Johnny, can you believe that once upon a time they used to run cars on gasoline?".

Before that happens, this world is Hell, and there are very few "tourists" in it, like Buddha, Dante and Tesla, for instance.

I have been been wondering why the layout is tilted around 14 degrees from horisontal. The patterns at both the Vatican and Washington D.C are horisontal, why tilt Astana 14 degrees ?

If you use Google Earth and use the ruler to draw a path that follow Astana's centerline, the line pass through northern Italy, a bit south of Gibraltar, through South-America. The last city the line pass through before entering the Pacific is Los Ángeles, Chile.

The match is perfect, i believe the reason why Astana's centerline is tilted 14 degrees is because the line is meant to pass through Los Ángeles, Chile.

In Google Earth, if you draw a line to the north from Los Ángeles, Chile with a 90 degree right angle to the line coming from Astana, the line pass through Concepción, Chile - pass THROUGH Los Angeles, California - before it passes Eureka, California. According to the Wikipedia article regarding the 2010 Eureka earthquakes: en.wikipedia.org... - the January 9 earthquake happened around 33 miles offshore of Eureka.

Since both Concepción, Chile and Eureka, California have had earthquakes in 2010 - this really doesn't seem like a coincidence.

So, is Bayterek a disguised Wardenclyffe Tower, and did it cause the Concepción, Chile and Eureka, California 2010 earthquakes? Is Los Angeles, California the next target? If so, who do we call and ask for help ?

as I understand it the 'free energy' concept was unworkable, as Tesla, in his enthusiasm, miscalculated. energy can be 'transmitted' (radiated) but not in a channelled/controled way (think of the BP spill; w/o the well/pipes it just flows out).
I'm not a physicist so I could be wrong about this.

Tesla patented most of his stuff and he proved the concepts workable and demonstrated them, they were not some theory.
