Nearly 200 crop circles have appeared in just one formation not far from Warminster, Wiltshire, known as the UFO capital of Britain.

The circular 90m (300ft) design, believed to represent the passage of the Moon and Sun, contains 193 rings, including six key circles and a seventh in the centre.


Crop circle expert Karen Alexander said: ‘This is the most complex circle so far this year.’ The formation, near the village of Mere, is the first in the area since 1997.

Very impressive. i would like to know what the most complex crop circle on earth is and how long it would take to make if made by man.

How do they know what it represents?


What i don't get is how come no one ever sees these things being made. There must be hundreds of spy satellites all over around the planet. If made by man or alien.. surely someone must capture some kind of footage.

I assume of course that all places on earth are being watched from space 24/7/365. I wonder just how close to that we are.

I wouldn't even be surprised if this was a new means of carrying out a new type of hybrid virus. Especially that there are parts of the PB spill that have made it impossible for air to be present. Imagine if something were introduced for any tropical storm.....

I think this crop circle has a multi layer interpretation where each size of circles represents a new layer.

This one could show some kind of fission reaction where a single progenitor atom fissions into more and more particles with a release of energy, not neccesarily a reaction we make use of, each layer being a evolution of time.

It is a bunch of 3d cubes.....The bigger bubble is "popping out" at us to give it dimension.

Or at least that is what I see...I did not see it at first, but after looking for about 5-10 seconds that is what I see....

Not sure what it means though.

It's a lot less complex than it appears. It's just one fairly simple pattern repeated many times, which gives the impression of complexity. For crop circle makers complexity isn't the problem, size is. It's a lot of work.

This one doesn't look particularly well made, you can see imperfections even from the aerial shot (particularly with the smaller circles).

It's not just "time" that lends difficult to forming a crop circle complex or not. Surveying and geometry would be skills imperative to its formation. And YES, I've seen the two dudes make one on T.V. It looked NOTHING like this and others that I've seen. I don't see "imperfections" as some claim and i thought the even "flatness" of each one is the standard to which we accept or reject it's status as something E.T and it's tough to judge this high up. If I honestly had to guess with my life on the line....I'd say.....Alien Made.

I wonder how many people it takes to make one of those, like 20 ppl and 2 hours time to make it? You can get a lot of work done with 20 ppl in 2 hours. Theres no such thing as aliens, and all the crop circles are made in the uk, so its just a group of people, probably looking at this site right now getting ideas for their next circle.

The problem with that theory is that it does not explain how some pristine crop circles have downed crops with all their stalks bent at their swollen nodes, which always exhibit expulsion cavities. Not ONE split and broken stalk in them. But no doubt the hoaxers all levitated over the field whilst making these genuine crop circles, eh?

Alright smartass, so you think it was aliens? Well where the hell are they? Over all the years, since crop circles have been made, you'd think that maybe just one would be seen in the making....Or perhaps, a satellite would pick up a UFO and they send some fighter planes to blow it out of the sky. And besides, if it was aliens, answer me this....Why try and send a message in some form of code in the middle of a field, instead of just landing their damned UFO and telling the world themselves? Why would they hide?
