This image on the findtherings.com prizes page

matches exactly the design of the three stolen rings that Cromline has (hopefully not for long). And have been confirmed as the last three rings.

How could Simon have an image of what the ring looks like (exactly) BEFORE they were found if they were really secret and only four people knew of their locations and what these rings looked like?

The **only** solid explanation is that Simon had the rings in the first place, and that he set them out in the world to be found. Let me know if you've got a better theory or one to debunk this one, but I'm convinced that this is just a game now. I only wish I'd seen the image on findtherings.com sooner (don't spend a lot of time there).

P.S. Hey 5... you're full of sh*t! I hope you choke! Simon... go get this MF'er and get your rings back so we can keep playing this game. It's a lot of fun and I, for one, really appreciate the time and effort you and your management staff have put into it. Thank you.

I'm just trying help give proof to those who still doubt that this is a game and debunk claims by those who claim that it is not ***AHEM***5***AHEM*** just because they can't "work and play well with others" and got their stupid butts kicked out of ATS.

we know, and love you GH

it's all just part of the game

obviously Simon has invented -5-, it's all just part of it

I'm just a tad hacked off at it being so obscure

-5 - seems to have far too much money & time on his hands to go to all the trouble of travelling/flying to (what we are supposed to believe) 3 seperate locations around the world just so he can spoil a game

Of course it is just a game... it is an RPG type game... we play the game... we follow the plot... the plot becomes "real"...

If you recall, Simon's Uncle knew all of the four who safeguarded the rings. It stands to reason that "uncle" would have easily been able to provide Simon with an image of one of the rings.

I hope that helps.

[game on] Nope. Uncle died. And besides... I refuse to believe that the 4 would allow Uncle to carry an IMAGE of the rings for any reason, especially considering that they were UBER secret things and held such GREAT power. Though Uncle may have SEEN the rings, I doubt he could've given that acurate a description to allow Simon to make a picture that looked EXACTLY like them. [Game uncovered] Let's continue. -5- is part of the game. He is a ficticous character and does not truely exist as a person. He did not really go anywhere and steal the rings because he's not a real person. Everything he has done and said has been controled by the people running this game. He's part of the plot, just like Uncle and the 4. We all played into it flawlessly though and I, for one, will not fall for it again so easily. Fool me once...

Damn -- Admin stepping in Sorry folks. I was working on some code in the post form and slipped up some PHP. Damn PHP (IF) statements need two "==" and when I use one in this statment: if($user = "SkepticOverlord")[ do something ] Instead of this: if($user == "SkepticOverlord")[ do something ] It sets the username to SkepticOverlord!!!!!! (sheesh) We're working on using the board to manage main site content, and I'm modifying the code of the post form. How many posts did this happen to? I found one, and fixed it, but it looks like there's more. u2u me with posts where this occurred. Sorry folks.

Oh SkepticOverlord... Just admit that -5- got by the security and is placing your name all over the place to get back at you for swooshing in on his house and pointing Cerberus` people to the right place to search for the rings.... As we all know that you NEVER make real mistakes right?
