Not posting this in news, because it isn't really news, it's a clip from my local newspaper from Feb this year. I didn't really think much of it at the time, until I saw my own set of UFO lights in the sky. I think these were chinese lanterns now thinking of it, but even my fiance, who's pretty skeptical, saw a UFO with flashing lights on a few years ago.

The sheer level of security at the site could have meant a lot of things, protecting evidence for instance, but there has been a LOT of UFO sightings in Mansfield over the past 5 years.

The article states a member of the public were threatened by an 'unarmed man' and another saw a van full of police officers and a private security guard, who could well have been a government agent of some sort.

Nobody has ever found out what this dig was for, they were digging for something, maybe it was something to do with the recent UFO sightings?
