it;s working fine now.....my son turned it off and well about an hour of cooling down, it was fine...

but, like I said, it never overheated before, shouldn't have then.

Clean the fan and the heat sink of all the dust...I had to do that to my old PC. You will be surprised how a little bit of dust can stop air flow. Also check for dust at the rear fan and any other fans you have.

So now BP is putting the feed screens off center. Captured on Ocean Intervention ROV 1 at 6:57am EDT August 11, 2010.

There was a big explosion on Q4000 very early this morning...one of those fiery looking ones, and lasted for about 15 minutes.

Either Ocean Intervention ROV 2 is on top of Skandi 2, or they are 2 cameras on the same ROV. Because they are both looking at the same thing, but different angles:

Q4000 ROV 2 is NOT at the "BOP" at least not the deepwater BOP.

I know....Q4000 is on the ship now I think. I thought something was happening but it must have been the turbulance of the water as it was ascending (with the weird color filters it looked bizarre)....when I realized that it was nothing I changed my post LOL.....I meant on Skandi 1 that light is blocking view of the BOP and it's all foggy again.....when yesterday it was so clear!

What is that big white cloud coming from the top of the BOP??? Someone please answer.

Something just happened up on the BOP.... There was a big white cloud pouring out, then it got really bright. You could see the cap, then after the brightness you can't see the BOP anymore. I hope I didn't see what I think I saw......

Where is everyone? Did the BOP just collapse?? Please read my post above....NOW I see very black clouds coming from the seafloor but NO BOP....I hope it is just hidden in the fog....and I am wrong.

Is no one else seeing this? Now there is what looks like a huge oil plume on the right of the screen just out of sight (but you can see the edge of it)The rovs moved back. Still don't see the bop. Blackstuff coming from the bottom of the screen too....it looks like oil. I hope someone comes on here and tells me I'm wrong.

No idea...The feeds have been cut off.

EDIT: All but the Q4000 ROV 2 have stopped.

Skandi 1....all you can see now is blue with some black at the bottom and the edge of the dark plume to the right, just out of view. I can't tell if it's still there....but there was a big cloud of white pouring from the top of it, and you could see the BOP....then suddenly, it wasn't there and the black started coming up from the bottom....the the camera moved so that the black cloud was just out of view. I hope I'm wrong about this.

All i see is the headlights from another ROV at the moment. Aside from that I cannot see anything.

I just saw a giant blob of oil pass in front of Skandi 1.

Also some brown plumes of something and a lot of white bubbles was just on Ocean Intervention ROV 1. The ROV is at least 30 feet off the seafloor now. More now that it is at the BOP. Here is a screen shot with its assignment.

I just saw a huge blob/plasma thing too....I'm telling yall something happened. I'm not sure what but something did....I saw the white cloudy stuff pouring from the top of the BOP, and I haven;t seen it since....then all the black clouds, now the big blobs....I have see those several times since it happened.

When I said plasma I meant what I saw was a weird greenish blob that kind of spead out....not oil.

Uggggh..........I am beginning to think the BOP collapsed....read my earlier posts about what has been happening. I hope I am just WRONG.
