well, he's right. So far, for BP, it is a "success".

He didnt say for the Gulf, or the Residents of the Gulf coast, or the creatures that live in the Gulf.

Considering we have zero idea what this areas looked like prior, we have no idea if what we are seeing is normal or not.

Dragon, i looked back through the thread, didnt you have some images of all those headlights on ocean int iii?

I'm still trying to account for all those sets of lights.

So BP is capping a different well somewhere else. Where do we find that live feed at, because surely you aren't talking about this well or wells A&B
in the gulf.If you are talking about this one you may have been watching to long and need to get some rest and try again later.

No prob.....Skandi has just been looking at different spots on the floor like that for awhile. There hasn't been much going on that I have seen so far today.

well, there is definately a lot of that unidentifiable, dark, pixelated 'stuff' that seems to be moving bottom right to top left on that camera. just cant tell what it is because fo the poor image quality. could be the ocean current, could be crude, could be my imagination.

Did Thad Allen give a certain time for when the
Bottom Kill would start today? If they already started could
be part of all the bad camera footage...As I recall the 1st time BOP was shown Post Cement was ~ 6 -7 hrs...& it was still leaking!
Appears that whenever the cams are bad, you no there's
a problem...

I think they were going to start today....I'll check and see if I can find out. I know they are going to resume drilling the relief well tonight.

Maybe they started bottom kill or the drilling already? Because Skandi one is showing stuff billowing out of the top of it and it looks like it may be swaying a little unless it is an optical illusion....but I definitly saw plumes come out of the top just before I started posting this.

Did you see that on Skandi 1 a little while ago? There was something billowing from what LOOKED like the top (it's so hard to tell)....but it was a large amount.....the ROV moved away fast, now you can't see anything and the ROV is just studying it. I hope it was just my eyes playing tricks on me, but it looked bad for awhile. Damn cameras make it so hard to tell what you are seeing!

The Skandi feeds are sure blurry.. such poor quality.

... Hos and Ocean.. not too bad.

No.. I missed it.. Yes those on the Skandi aren't very clear anymore.. a lot like the Q4000.. almost useless.
