Q4000 ROV 2 showing a red plume bellowing up............

Deep C ROV 2 cordinates are not on Well A's site....as are the other cameras.......something is happening folks!

Occasional lurker here... what is happening on Boa Deep C? Is this a loop or is this something happening now?

Definitely not a loop. I've been glued to the screen all day (work you know).

Some type of eruption is taken place that has knocked down some equipment. SKANDI is trying to retrive things. Deep C ROV 2 is still showing the eruption but it has calmed down now. It looked like all hell breaking loose earlier.

Wouldn't that be expected with them pumping all that mud etc.....I would expect to see a lot of mayhem

Why would you expect that? If it is a so-called closed system, we shouldn't see anything.

When the sediment clears from Deep C ROV 2 you can see what looks like ice crystals on the sea floor.......they have panned right now so you can't see where the hole was.

Just that with so much activity going on I would expect to see a lot of disturbances. I live close to it, so I guess I am trying to be optimistic LOL! I have seen some major eruptions too though.

What just happened?
Looked like another eruption on Boa Deep C - ROV 1.

Edit: This one was so intense that Boa Deep C - ROV 2 went black for ~20 seconds

Edit: And again, why so much activity?
ROV 1 went black this time.

Is that a plume or an eruption?
looks far too turbulent to be just a plume but I'm not an expert on just about anything.

And a third edit:
I forgot to add, I saw Hos Achiever Maxx - ROV 2 shake roughly 1 minute before the eruption.
it's been steady since though.

Yes, it just blew again! I wish they had OI ROV 1 & 2 up and running. it would show all of this!

Have they started with the static kill yet?
I thought it was delayed due to leaks
around the BOP.

THEY JUST STARTED STATIC KILL THEY JUST ANNOUNCED IT ON CNN

I saw an eel a few nights ago but I forget what rov it was on.

CNN just announced that static kill is underway right now. They just started. That may be what's going on....

It's been erupting since noon. Static Kill.........that's a good one.

Deep C ROV 2 blackout now. The coverup continues!

They've shut off Boa Deep C rov 1 and 2 :\

Wonder whats going on...
