I'm watching Boa Deep C - ROV 2. They're trying to use some kind of tool with the robotic arm, but they keep dropping it. So funny.

Well the leak isn't funny at all, but it's a little funny how incompetent they are.

Kind of like children playing with expensive, complicated machines.

I know what you mean, I woulden't say it's funny ^^ but hey we all have a different sense of humour. I saw it to, it was painful watching them drop that tool over and over.

But these are the guys that are trying to fix this MASSIVE cockup.

this thread is about 5 hours old the well has not collapsed i think its time in MY humblest opinions, no offense OP, for this thread to be moved to hoax or bts

this sort of boy who cried wolf title only hinders us when something REAL is happening..

perhaps a more appropriate title for this thread would be
"running commentary on bp cams"

or perhaps just use the search function and post on one of the already existing dialogues?

sorry if this seems harsh, but, again in MY opinion we really cannot afford to desensitize our readership anymore than the MSM already does...

Well, as you know, I made a thread to address the issue and it was promptly moved to the "Rant" section, but it DID get three or four flags and a few stars in the three minutes it WAS available.:

That well better not collapse right now. I got a bet going with some folks that it won't collapse until around September 9th and they think it will happen around the 4th of July. Of course, it's not so much the money I would loose that I'm concerned about, I just hate it when I'm wrong. It's embarrassing.

I hope thing don't get worse, the idea they have about using a nuke to fix it is just unbelievable. It would just make a huge hole then what would we do.
I hope they fix it quickly.

I would do it myself if i cared about flags or stars , so im going to suggest again that one of the many "well watchers" here start a new thread where we can have an on going commentary ,

for those of us at work or unable to see the video. i had seen one a few weeks ago but i could not find it again using the search function, anyway a non sensationalist thread of that sort would be appreciated by at least my self.. thanks in advance

i can't tell if it is moving or not the robot is moving i think and it does look as more oil or what ever it is more of it than a few days ago.

they say that Russia has use nukes fourbtimes to seal wells. when it blows up and the dirt falls back down it seals the leak. i guess it would be like a coal mine caving in.

Here is the distribution of quakes since o1/o1/2009. You can see a small swarm in June, but there was also one in November of last year.



Thi shows just May / June and you can see that the main part of the mini swarm was at the beginning of the month and not yesterday/today
