Go to www.downloads.com and search for an art creation program called Serif Drawplus 4.0 I have found this a great little program to make avaters and animated gif's. It's also free, I made my avater with it.

It is a great program, I have found it good to use. It's only drawbacks are the way you cannot cut up images inside + it's hard to get the right pixel size on your images sometimes, but overall I think it's tres bein .

You have to upload it to ATS through your member center and then you can use it as your avater.

Use the tutorial located in the menu at the top oc the screen.
