That is an infrared satellite image, not radar. It's showing us clouds.

And, as has been pointed out, Alex does not exist as yet. There is no tropical storm or any other organized weather...yet.

True. They were discussing an area of thunderstorms in the Yucatan peninsula that would be moving into the gulf. Since it has been so warm in the gulf already, they anticipate further activity. I also agree that Alex is still at a small chance of developing. I guess there's 2 places they're watching. They mentioned the NHC was watching it, but just as the potential Alex, we'll have to wait and see.

Not really.
Here's the chart for the region. And it shows, yes, a slight trough (also known as a tropical wave).

I checked around the net real quick and found the surface water temps for the gulf. The most recent one was from yesterday, but it does show a prime environment for this tropical wave/trough to build up as it heads off to the northeast and into warm water.

There is NO Tropical Storm Headed to Florida at the moment, if there was it would be on the news....do some research first before posting that a Tropical Storm is headed for the US

You never bothered to watch the video did you? Did you even read the link to their website that was discussing it? How about YOU do a little research.
... news..... um, they don't discuss weather in Mexico on regular 'news'.
