Obama administration is drafting a plan to "unilaterally" issue blanket amnesty for millions of illegal immigrants as it struggles to win support in Congress for an overhaul of immigration laws.

So if Congress can't agree Obama will by Executive Order give all illegals amnesty. By a stroke of a pen Obama can do this without congress doing anything to stop it.

Boy this sounds bad to me. I can see a massive rush of Mexicans coming into our country to meet the deadline if it comes true. Can we handle 25 million more?

I remember this being such a conspiracy a few years ago that when people said this they were called crazy conspiracy theorists(and that is being nice). Now all of these things are happening right in front of our eyes and people still think we are crazy. When is it that others will oopen up t o the truth of things? Regardless of the why, it is happening and maybe someday we will get some recognition instead of harassment,

If this does happen, it will be the largest slap in the face of legal immigrants we've ever seen. Could it be he's going for the votes on this one? Sounds reasonable to me.

I have said it before and I'll say it again,
if amnesty is granted to illegals
there will be a revolt and it won't end
peacefully. Just an opinion

Sounds like a great idea !(sarcasm) Giving amnesty to millions of criminals.... While we're at it, we might as well give amnesty to all murderers, rapists, thieves and drug dealers.

Amnesty has to be granted because you can't deport over 10 million people without looking like a HITLER.

We seal the border and grant amnesty.

There is no other way...the rest is political fodder for the weak minded and crazy.

While it does make the most sense, unfortunately the border will never be sealed. Since Reagan granted illegals amnesty in the 80's, the border has become more and more porous. Now it's impossible to stop the flood of illegals and if they think they can get in line for amnesty it will only get worse.

So is this similar to Ronald Reagan granting amnesty to 2 million illegals?
OR, is it similar to GW Bush, Ted Kennedy and McCains plan to give amnesty to illegals?
Just wondering!
And the Republicans did what about illegal immigration during the 8 years they had The presidency, NOT TO MENTION, the six years they had The Presidency, both Houses of Congress AND could have easily passed ANY BILL THEY WANTED???

You can't grant amnesty without sealing the border. I agree with that.

But it has to be done.

If we can't find a way to do this....the ending will not be good for anyone.

Seal and stop....then grant.

Everything else is destructive.

It can be done without looking like Hitler. Do a little research into "operation wet back" 1945-1954. Illegals have been deported in large numbers before,and it should be done again.

No there won't...there will be more crying on the internet and silly protest signs...but that is all.

Face it...everyone is too lazy to ever do anything...and a manufactured issue like this isn't going to cause a revolt.

That was almost 60 years ago when the world was a different place. And only about 80,000 were actually deported, the rest left of their own accord. Now we have as many as 20 million illegals. That's almost the entire population of Australia..

I've said this a MILLION times!
Neither party is interested in stopping illegal immigration!
When you can't outsource cheap labor for corporate interests, you INSOURCE cheap workers.
You can bust Unions, pay no benifits, it's win-win for corporations!
That's why EVERY ADMINISTRATION, no matter which Party, DOES EXACTLY THE SAME THING!

Yes in the last sixty or so years we have either become a kinder and more gentle nation,or a bunch of sniveling wimps that are to concerned about political correctness,to confront the issue. Either way this country is going down the tubes!!!
