And if you think small yield nukes could be used as bunker buster without radioactive fallout you're wrong. To contane fallout nuke would have to explode at least about 100 meter underground. With enough speed to penetrate that much dirt impact forces would brake bomb's body.

the manoveur worked in the falklands
and the argentinians had better aircraft
but we still bet them at the air war

sure u need a protection force but u dont need that amny ships. firstly u have to find the enemy

secondly sure it might have only 30 planes but that doest mean it its ineffective. u wouldnt need every plane gaurding it. if u cant find the damm thing u cant hit it
also that bit about the bombmagnet thing, no its not cause its a large target. its about haveing a multi-million pound vessel going up in smoke cause of a lone fighter getting through

Actually navy carriers lauch their fighters 500miles from the incoming planes and since we have advanced radar with a strike range of 150miles no jet is going to get through especially if you have 80 fighter up in the air protecting it.

actually a lone fighterr could get through 1 stealth fighter could penetrate your airspace quite easily

many countries MAY have em and i serosly think the MOD has a couple and come on the russians not haveing stealth planes ,come on, those guys well have stealth

can we plz focus on facts not some imaginary plane that dosnt exist and the russians dont have the tech or the money to build a stealth plane

the whole idea of a stealth plane is that it is stealth. So because of this we wouldnt know about them. Only the US are stupid enough to parade them in front of the world. Also the Us ones arent all that good, didint one get shot down by a third world country?

In gulf war "episode 1" they flew through very heavy air defense which was made with equipment from many countries.

what? hats the most idiotic thing I have ever heard stealth makes it harder to detect by radar doesn't make the plane invincible and the F-117 got shot down by pure luck not some coordinated attack from the enemy.
and the US can parade them because we already have other stealth planes coming out F-22 also don't forget about other planes that the public doesn't know about

look at the damage done to that plane. How can you call that a 'lucky shot'? A lucky shot would have been clipping a wing or hitting the tail. Just admit it your 'superior' aircraft got shot down by a bunch of peasants and farmers armed with 20 year old technology.

i wonder what the odds are of a stealth jet getting shot down?

stealth aircraft are basically only effective at sub sonic speeds cause i think the radar operator would notice a small bird flying at mach 2
