If this oil spill keeps getting worse, all those comics and movies might come true, we might have to pay, just to breath.....

Great point, it reminded me of the hidden immortal technique song Apocalypse remix (it plays when you hold reverse at the beginning of the mixtape its on)

In Monch's verse it says "they profit off water, they'll profit off oxygen" I think hes right.

Not only that, but the start of the song is prophetic when tech says

"The system can never stop what set into motion, like volcanic eruptions on the floor of the ocean"

The gulf gusher is no volcano, yet, but they still cant stop it....

If the situation gets soooo bad that we have to be on oxygen, I don't wanna be there. And I doubt if we would be, cuz I am a smoker and ima light up when I please in my own home.

I honestly don't think any corporation or government would be able to privatize air. Water is one thing... but air is everywhere- even if this spill becomes as catastrophic as some are saying... air will still be plentiful in other places.

On another note though... I do know that oxygen bars exist- there is one at my university where you literally pay to put an oxygen-mask on and "relax".

Someone has already thought of bottled oxygen.

The emergence of another possible billion dollar business, based on bottling and selling a natural commodity.
