I have about five or six stored in my pictures that i change between regularly, and I will probably add more in future, I get bored with the same avatar all the time
If its not myself in my avatar then I always seem to have another girlie in them, dont know why, quite feminine i suppose.

if you seen a pic of me hungover early in the morning then you would agree that I can scare small children.

The primary reasons for why I chose my current avatar are a) I love the work of the photographer, and b) it holds close meaning for me as my nationality is Australian. It's not me in the photograph, but I thought the picture was gorgeous.
People will choose their avatar for any number of reasons, in my opinion. Looking back at some of my previous avatars, I have mostly chosen pictures that denote a sense of freedom or vagueness, or possess a feminine figure, but that ultimately relate to my username.
Do I come across as pretty vacant to you?

My 'avy' shows a distraught creature that struggles
to find it's way in life. BIAD is not from this time,
this life... but he isn't mystical or enigmatic, he's
a practical man/girl that just wants peace of mind.
He will never obtain it due to the fact he doesn't
know where to look, but his search finds him
discovering more and more about himself and I
suppose, that's how he may win his day in the sun.
A poor soul, I've often pondered whether he should have
been taken out into the big sunflower field and dispatched
with his creator's shotgun.
An eyeless Hermaphrodite that never knew any form
of friendship, until folk like Raud and later, Chadwickus
found him, he's the last of it's kind.

My ATS settings say I have chosen an avatar, but it is not showing up. What am I doing wrong?
You probably need to apply the url of the image to your ATS account settings. From the page where your avatar is uploaded there should be a box with the URL within. Copy it and go to Member Tools > ATS Account Settings > Avatar URL and apply it there. Submit the settings.

Anyone with Mr. Cash in his avatar can not scare children
and is fine by me, Sir.

I wish it was tongue in cheek (smiles... she ain't
falling for it!)
The BIAD gets up to all sorts has he gambols across
the land, he's seen things, you people... Oh heck, I can't
use that one!
He's happy in his own way, so I suppose that's something.
By the way, what are crouching for in your avatar?
(Clean answers on a postcard, please!!)

and as such, am continually changing them. The subject matter just
depends on my mood at the time...
