hey guys i have allways been in to hip hop and rap music so when i found out about this guy called immortal technique i could not believe my luck.

i found this video of him been interviewed and answering a lot of questions to the non beleivers this guy trully knows his stuff and he schools this woman about everything.

u can actually see the look of amazement when she realises that what he is saying makes way to much sense if u get chance listen to the lyrics in a few of his songs i would suggest u listen to bin laden thanks for checking this out

Although I like Tech (been listening to him since I was in middle school like 6 years ago) this thread is probably nothing new to most members as the guy is famous, literally everybody I know knows who tech is and has heard at least some of his songs and the interviews arent new.

He is still new to some of us so why people take the time to post and tell you you should have been here earlier need to just shush. I was never going to accidentally look him up and I enjoyed the clip - which inspired me to look into him a little more.

That whole song was about the gang lifestyle with the glamour around it. A lot of his music is a form of parable or story. That song was not a promotion of rape but an indictment of such behaviour.

I have to disagree on your point as I find it rare to discover a hip hop artist who pulls no punches on the horrible things that happen in impoverished and troubled communities while at the same time reminding the listener of personal responsibility.

The song itself is about gang initiation and far from an endorsement.

I am amazed that you would shy from such a song that sheds light on terrible truth's. Isn't that what ATS is about? the denial of ignorance and the search for truth no matter how painful or distrubed it may be?

yeah I mentioned Immortal Technique just last week when someone was saying how Eminem was rapping about the NWO and stuff. But he gets brought up on here alot actually. People just need to pay attention.

the one thing that gets me about him is how he is a hispanic from, I believe Peru, and yet he uses the N-word freely like he is a brother. Oh well, I'm sure most of the little white hip hop kiddies on ATS say it too when they are around their white friends....

It is sad but true if you want to know the truth about what is going on in the world, especially in the United States, you have to look at the Russian and Chinese news sources, along with the news from a couple of neutral countries.

Somewhere among it all you will be able to sift out the truth.
