Florida governor Charlie Crist was out on the beach this week to remind everyone that they should still come check out what Florida's beaches have to
offer. There's not a sign of oil or tar balls in sight.
Just when you thought there was nothing funny about the Gulf of Mexico Oil Spill, Governor Charlie Crist's visit to Miami Beach provides a
much-needed, if unintentional, laugh.
Crist inspects the beach for oil but his eyes can't seem to locate any oil.

No oil here, just beautiful water, sand, etc.

I challenge anyone to find anything wrong with this place. It's practically perfect. Nothing but beauty as far as the eye can see.

(I'm going to pretend I don't see this guy.)

The Tampa Bay Times ran this on the front page of their printed version. Charile is keeping the beaches clean.
I'd think it was weird if he DIDN'T look....hehe...
Of course, different story here on the Gulf side of FL...
We aren't getting any where I am at, but above us, they are seeing some signs of the spill. Worse yet, the tourism industry is tanking, as this is
the season...but many have cancelled trips to the area....
