Haha that's like me. I often have conflicting opinions. I take a little bit from the right and a little bit from the left.

My results placed me in the center. I'm a fan of both sides of the political fence.

Here's my score.

SKL's "Political Map Quiz Score" :

Your PERSONAL issues Score is 60%

Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 70%

According to your answers, the political group that agrees with you most is...

CENTRIST

Centrist espouse a "middle ground" regarding government control of the economy and personal behavior. Depending on the issue, they sometimes favor government intervention and sometimes support individual freedom of choice. Centrists pride themselves on keeping an open mind, tend to oppose "political extremes," and emphasize what they describe as "practical" solutions to problems.

Fits pretty well for me.

My score was 60% / 20% which makes me a proud liberal.

My wife scored 60% / 30% which made her a centrist.

On the "World's Smallest Political Quiz," I got...

Your PERSONAL issues Score is 90%

Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 30%

According to your answers, the political group that agrees with you most is...

Liberal

No surprise there.

And on the more comprehensive "Political Compass Test," I got...

Your political compass

Economic Left/Right: -5.62

Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.90

I figured I was in that general direction.

Personal quizzes are pretty illuminating, if you ask me.

What are you trying to figure out?

If you're trying to figure out what it makes you, then I'd say you're probably a moderate social liberal.

Liberal for me too. I find it very interesting that so far no conservatives on this site though there are plenty in the general population. So I guess any political debates on ATS would be fairly one-sided.

As you'd expect, the vast majority of people on ATS have a natural distrust of the government. Conservatives (at least in the sense that the quiz classes them) are inherently socially authoritarian, so you would expect their numbers to be quite low on here.

But political debates are hardly one sided. On the right you have Anarcho-Capitalists, US Libertarians, Classical Liberals and etc. On the left you have Anarcho-Communists (and Socialists, Syndicalists, etc.), Left-Wing Libertarians, Socialists, Social Democrats and etc. Finally, in the centre you have various persuasions of Keynesians. In a world where even two people who identify as [insert ideology here] can disagree about things, there is no such thing as a 'one sided debate'. Partisanship is for losers.
