The sky isn't falling...the sky isn't falling...the is poor third world construction....with poor material..the fact that more and more are popping up is only because you have more and more substandard construction based on poor foundations.....add that to the presence of Internet to more and more remote areas and Wolla you have the world caving in at our feet...

When Nyc first started pushing into the boroughs,,queens, bklyn. The foundation they were use to building on was bedrock..the boroughs are mostly swap and beach...until they figured out how to build there were sinkholes and cave ins ..

This is not a mother earth being angry this is poor construction...period

I get it - The oil leaking out of the hole is creating the vacum of the sinkholes, but this is happening because BP made a hole in the crust of the Earth?

So can I ask .........2007 seems to be the first case of a sinkhole - What would of caused that?

There was also a sinkhole in Quebec on May 13, 2010.

this one doesnt look as scary as the one in guatemala...

ther a sinkholes over the world, and as the cource is rainfall, mudslide and underground riverbed then ther coming even more sinkholes in the future. You just have to wait till the biggest one comes to rise. And so over and over again. Motherearth gives a lot, but takes what every she needs.
