Southwest Finds Shipment of Heads on a Plane

www.nbcdfw.com

A Southwest Airlines employee called police after finding human heads in a package set to be transported to a Fort Worth medical research company, the airline said.

"It wasn't labeled or packaged properly," said Ashley Rogers, a Southwest spokeswoman. "They called the local authorities."

The incident happened in Little Rock, Ark., last Wednesday, she said.

Little Rock police turned the package over to the county coroner, who questions where they came from and if they were properly obtained.

Heads are going to roll over this one...

Where did the heads come from? And why weren't they shipped with the proper documentation? The provider's license had been revoked.... What kind of experiments or research do they do on heads anyway?

Is there really a black market for chopped off heads?

Does this remind anyone of the extremely lame movie "8 heads in a Duffel Bag"?

Absolutely Bizarre!!

Could very well be people who donated their bodies to science... or organ donors. I don't believe you have any say as to where and how the body parts are used once you've given your consent to donate to science. Not sure about organ donors, though.

Then again... maybe the heads are being sent in to test for rabies.

I guess that is what happens when people sign up to be a donor on their drivers license?

Oh gosh, going to revoke my donarship, straight away.

And yes, my thougts went to "8 heads in a duffle bag."

Blech..................vomit!

That poor poor dog.
I hope he was already on his way to the grave (dying) before science got ahold of him. Look at him lick his nise, trying to moisten it, and then try to swallow, and swallow. Something is wrong with my throat...

Lol, I am totally with you. It sounded like the perfect sequel to "Snakes on a plane."

I think we need counseling.

People are freaking sick. Poor dog. Someone should try that experiment with whomever thought it up so that he can report how it feels to be a disembodied head.

Well, whoever did this sure isn't going to get ahead in his line of work.

Yep, I'll be here all week. Don't forget to tip the wait staff and try the veal!

If they had used "VooDoo Pixie Dust" the heads would have shrank like they
were supposed to.
Then they all could've fit in the new Postal Service box. If it fits, . .it ships !

No Southwest plane needed .

(And the things I could do to that SOB that experimented on the dog . . .)

I remember once when I was in high school reading of a scientist that was going to get guillotined during the French revolution, so he had his friend do a experiment on how long the head lives and is conscious without a body, so when he got his head cut off his friend said his name and supposedly the head fixed his eyes on the guy, and when he asked the head to blink it responded by blinking. Anyways I tried to Google that story but couldn't find anything that said of the whole experiment.

But I did find this on a site don't know if its true or not but the same experiment you show is on there, plus one with a 2 headed dog, and some really messed up ones.
www.museumofhoaxes.com...

As for the shipment of 40 to 60 human heads, I can only guess it's for science and they will do experiments on them of some sort. To bad it doesn't say were all the heads come from probably from a war in a third world country.

Here is what I find strange....its says on Sky news and your passage there..."between 40 - 60 heads"

Why can they not give an accurate number. Its not like its between 546000 and 9 million....40-60 is relatively low on the number scale.....I can only imagine that they counted to 45 and then said I cant be bothered to count the last 15....lets just settle on between 40-60.

Makes no sense.

It was a Dr. Beaurieux and he guy getting the chop was a M. Languille. Here is the Dr's findings.

"I waited for several seconds. The spasmodic movements ceased. The face relaxed, the lids half closed on the eyeballs, leaving only the white of the conjunctiva visible, exactly as in the dying whom we have occasion to see every day in the exercise of our profession, or as in those just dead. It was then that I called in a strong, sharp voice: "Languille!" I saw the eyelids slowly lift up, without any spasmodic contractions – I insist advisedly on this peculiarity – but with an even movement, quite distinct and normal, such as happens in everyday life, with people awakened or torn from their thoughts. Next Languille's eyes very definitely fixed themselves on mine and the pupils focused themselves. I was not, then, dealing with the sort of vague dull look without any expression, that can be observed any day in dying people to whom one speaks: I was dealing with undeniably living eyes which were looking at me. "After several seconds, the eyelids closed again, slowly and evenly, and the head took on the same appearance as it had had before I called out.

I love that last statement by the coroner… Were these heads “properly” obtained?

Anyway probably some hospital trying to get around some red tape.
I wonder if the heads were Chinese.

Isn't there a big military base in Fort Worth? Isn't that where the swine flu epidemic started from back in the 7o's? I bet they were for some crazy, wacked out military scientist!

Ya thats the experiment they did, I always used to wonder if the guy had actually trained his subconscious to say a phrase or just say anything, then when the head is about to be cut off and you focus on what you want to do. Then when the head is cut off it will actually say the trained phrase that he learned. Kind of like the physical response of chickens to run before they get there head chopped off. I remember when I was young in the old country witnessing a couple of butchering of chickens for food.

Man would that freak out the French revolutionary people if he actually did that. Imagine he gets his head cut off then with his last seconds of life its sitting there talking.
That would freak out a lot off people and make them think twice about cutting heads off, though the kind off will to pull that off before death would be ridiculous.
