1) At this point in time the USA is facing possibly an insurmountable series of MAJOR problems and disasters never before faced in the history of the country.

2) Your President has been in power for around 15 short months

3) The disasters and problems being faced are huge, and I would question any individuals ability to manage this disaster set any better than it is currently being done.

The Disaster set being:

1) Iraq - an ongoing war

2) Afghanistan - a losing war

3) North Korea/South Korea - a potential war

4) Israel/Gaza/Freedom Flotilla - a highly toxic and dysfunctional mess

5) Iran - a potential war potentially incl Syria, Lebanon and Turkey.

6) Health Reform (admittedly of the governments own making but bravely implemented to resolve a problem )

7) An Economic Crash and debt in excess of $13 Trillion

7.1) Financial Reform

8) Gulf of Mexico oil disaster

8.1) Energy Reform

- The biggest threat to the USA is not the individual disasters or the sum of the disasters.

- The biggest threat is that the USA is being Divided and Conquered, and the disaster set is the vehicle by which it is being done.

- The country is becoming ever more polarized by right wing and left wing extremists.

- This goes beyond Republican and Democratic parties

- It is very easy to sit on the sidelines and snipe at what one believes is good or bad about any given situation and how it is being handled.

- Too much squabbling and dysfunction on an individual level, a family level, an organizational/corporate level, a state level and a country level.

I am not trying to say to anyone that the POTUS is correct in all he does and says and how he reacts and manages these catastrophes.

I am not in support of a Democrat versus a Republican versus a Tea Party/Independent.

I am asking the question: What the hell do you expect in this kind of situation?

Can any one of you name one potential candidate (A-Political) that you truly believe can handle all of these ongoing issues that much better than they already are being managed?

As to whether any of these problems are deliberately created to serve another purpose or not is not my point.

Whether a shadow government or other organization is at play here is not the point.

The point is that your wonderful country is facing Catastrophes/Crises/Disasters both sequentially and in parallel on a scale that is unheard of and it is dividing and conquering the population.

Divide and conquer (derived from the Latin saying Divide et impera) may refer to:

* Divide and rule, in politics, sociology and economics, a strategy to gain or maintain power
o Defeat in detail, in warfare, a tactical maneuver to efficiently deal with a numerous opponent.

The time of Apocalypse is at hand and I am not referring to a religious position or revelation - by this i am referring to a "Great Unveiling" - my interpretation of is that all that is "lies and illusion" that has been held up to the masses to be "True and Normal" is crashing down and revealing simply the Truth of what is.

Thanks

Bravo

I'm no politician.. but in my opinion none of these problems should be that complicated. They are just made that way to keep their pockets lined.

1) Iraq - an ongoing war
Solution: Remove our troops. Hand over control to Iraq.

2) Afghanistan - a losing war
Solution: Remove our troops. Sometimes you can't win.

3) North Korea/South Korea - a potential war
Solution: Stop listening to KJI. This situation has been going on over there for decades.

4) Israel/Gaza/Freedom Flotilla - a highly toxic and dysfunctional mess
Solution: Stop giving aid to Israel. Stop putting Israel first over America.

5) Iran - a potential war potentially incl Syria, Lebanon and Turkey.
Solution: Follow the NNPT and actually ASSIST them in building their reactors. In exchange we would be able to monitor what is going on.

6) Health Reform (admittedly of the governments own making but bravely implemented resolve a problem )
Solution: Change the fact that insurance companies over bill and cost people fortunes, thus running up doctors fees.

7) An Economic Crash and debt in excess of $13 Trillion
Solution: STOP BAILING OUT INDUSTRIES. If they fail they fail. Perhaps they SHOULD FAIL.

7.1) Financial Reform
Solution: Remove the FED.

8) Gulf of Mexico oil disaster
Solution: Stop kissing BP's behind and accept the aid offers from other countries.

8.1) Energy Reform
Solution: Stop allowing oil companies to act with abandon. Stop allowing oil companies to buy up patents of clean energy products.

I know.. I know.. it CAN'T be as cut and dry as that.. can it? Why not?

I voted for Obama. Granted I would have preferred to vote for RP.. but thats besides the point. I bought into all of Obama's hype. His "yes we can" bs. But as the days and months went on... I saw him do nothing. He followed the same Bush procedures and in some situations went beyond them. He has handed billions to banks and corporations, has done nothing to solve the problems in Iraq and Afghanistan, has bent over for Israel on too many occasions, has basically told us we MUST buy health care, etc etc etc. Where is the change? 15 months many not be a lot. But he hasn't done ANYTHING in those 15 months.

Well.. thats not true. Didn't he just hand over a park in Arizona to Mexico?

Forgive me, but this seems a little backwards to me.

Shouldn't the President be the one to get behind the people? Isn't that why we elected him? Isn't he supposed to be the one to represent us on the world stage?

I've wondered for years now why we continue with the dog and pony show of elections and voting. The whole idea is that we vote on issues, and our politicians go off and represent our positions on the matters. Instead, we vote, and our politicians go off and do whatever they want. TARP, Obamacare, shoot, just name your example...

I for one am sick and frakking tired of being told that I don't know what I want, or what's best for me, my family, my friends and neighbors. I'm sick of assholes in bad suits, who live in a different reality than I do, telling me that they know what's best for me better than I do. What I want, is for the President to start listening to the PEOPLE, and doing what the PEOPLE want.

So, back on topic, when the president starts acting with the interests of the people in mind, the people will get behind the president.

This is bollocks!

No I will not support any administration pulling for more taxes and legislation.
We have enough of those already.

I will not support any administration hell-bent on ruining this economy.
If you can't see what all this spending is going to produce...

I know you've done your research and you seem to be informed.

Yeah. Cap and Trade. Good idea!
Let's spend MORE money!

What do I expect in this situation?

SHUT DOWN THE BORDERS AND TAKE CARE OF OURSELVES!

(PULL everyone back into this country from other countries and return to help AMERICA! This has nothing to do with immigration, btw)

STOP SPREADING MONEY AROUND LIKE WE HAVE IT!

Any POTUS should have this on their agenda.
But do you see it? No.
You see more spending, more bank bailouts and backing today.
More struggle, and more taxes.
YAY!

IT started with G.Washington and it should echo through history, but it doesn't.

He advocated taking care of our citizens inside the borders FIRST, not sending billions of our tax money to countries that don't even ask for it.

WE DON'T EVEN TAKE CARE OF OURSELVES.

I don't like this one bit and I forecast a huge change in the economic climate.

Just wait. It's coming.

The only problem I see with your post is that includes way too much common sense for America at this time.

Politicians act like they are royalty and we are their loyal subjects. They believe they know what's best for us. I would bet if all of them had to work real jobs about 90% would be fired for incompetence.

In the Roman Republic when election time came bribes were the norm and accepted in society. Everyone knew that in order to hold office you had to have a lot of money and power already established.
What's so different now? The bribes are done behind closed doors so everyone can pretend they don't happen and believe the BS that spews out of their mouths when they tell us they are working for the people.

The only thing the people of this country should be coming together to do is get him impeached, throw out the rest of the criminals and scumbags in congress, and start over with Constitution in hand.

Solution: Remove our troops. Hand over control to Iraq.

2) Afghanistan - a losing war
Solution: Let our troops do there job and stop burding them with rules of war.
3) North Korea/South Korea - a potential war
Solution: Just bomb the hell out of North Korea. problem fixed

4) Israel/Gaza/Freedom Flotilla - a highly toxic and dysfunctional mess
Solution: keep blockade up. israel has the right to defend itself. 3500 rockets flew into israel last year but israel is still the bad guy to ATS eyes. Why????

5) Iran - a potential war potentially incl Syria, Lebanon and Turkey.
Solution: Let Israel bomb there recators. IRAN sits on 1/6th of the worlds oil. why do they need nuke power? they can pump gas for 10 cents a gal. get real they want the A bomb.

6) Health Reform (admittedly of the governments own making but bravely implemented resolve a problem )
Solution: kick all the illigals out!!! turn over the health reform bill. open up all the state boarders for insurance companys to pratice across state lines. lower malpratice insurance. I dont want the same people running DMV, US POST OFFICE, SS, medicade/cal running my health care.

Solution: STOP BAILING OUT INDUSTRIES. If they fail they fail. Perhaps they SHOULD FAIL. Agree!!!

7.1) Financial Reform
Solution: Remove the FED. Agreed

8) Gulf of Mexico oil disaster
Solution: Stop kissing BP's behind and accept the aid offers from other countries. Agreed, also this was an acident, let us drill on land. if a spill happens on land we can just plow over the well and its sealed. plus at the same time invest in new energy

8.1) Energy Reform
Solution: drill baby drill at the same time invest in new energy

I did not vote for OBAMA aka One Big A$$ Mistake America. i sow through his speechs and record or nothen. the man was an organizer!!!! never balinced a payroll in his life now he runs the US goverment. come on people. It is that simple, nail on the head.

The day we remove our noses from the butt cracks of every other country is the day everyone stops hating the US. No one ever EVER says anything about Canada.

As far as energy goes, it is simple too. Look at Germany if you haven't been paying attention. They've made huge leaps and bounds fueling their economy and becoming extremely energy efficient despite the fact that current solar technologies are very ineffective at capturing energy from the sun.

Health care is a fail system because it is too big. Saying that anything is "too big to fail" is about like saying the sky is pink and polka-dotted. The moral of the story of Babel was this. Any person/group/building/corporation that has no limit to how big it can grow will INEVITABLY eventually collapse.

The solution to healthcare is to take insurance out of the equation all together. The best GP I ever had used a flat rate/visit fee system. 40 dollars a visit no matter what. He made his money because his office didn't have a 5000 dollar aquarium or 20 nurses.

+1 We all thought we would not be another rich white guy banking on companies but he is like all the others.

ANYONE we elect from the 2 party system fits this mold and thus is why they are pushed up by there party.

the only way to fix anything is to VOTE INDEPENTANT FOR EVERYTHING!

If no one votes for the 2 parties no one will want to be part of the parties and may just may think on there own.

Then maybe there will be someone worth standing up for.

Thanks Axelrod. But when you line up behind a fool you become a lemming. Marxism just isn't the way to go. A better aproach would be to encourage he, his cabinet, the vp and most members of both houses of congress to resign, so that we could perhaps get someone in there that has some chrisis manangement skills and instincts. Guliani, Palin, Huckabee, basically anybody who wouldn't respond to a problem by appointing a blue ribbon panel of socialists to decide who to blame and how to spin it.

I did not support him during the election process. I did not vote for him. I did not want this puppet in charge of this country. I do not support his agenda or any of his policies.

Obama is not POTUS material. He has no idea or clue how to run a city or state, much less a country. He is spineless and bends to the whims of whoever is typing his speech on the prompter.

No, I will not support him. I care less about the influence failed support will have on this country, because I will stand up for myself and my neighbor and my family to my last breathe whenever I need to.

Obama is a puppet and his policies are only in line with globalist agendas and lining the pockets of big corporations that helped put him in office in the first place. So, since he could care less about me and the rest of the 299 million other average citizens in the US, I could care less about him and his failed administration.

If you want solutions to those problems:

-throw out anything that requires the use of violence against innocent people acting voluntarily on their own.

-uphold the property rights of the people.

From these two things we can deduce the following solutions:

-Eliminate government entirely.

All other problems will solve themselves within a few years.

In the second reply we can see he favors mostly removing government from the equation, pulling out of Afghanistan and Iraq, ending the Fed, and so forth. It is his misguided ideas about government being able to act as a source of charity that cause him to confuse violent solutions with voluntary solutions.

Government is incapable of acting as a charity.

It must harm or damage the property of one person in order to "charitably"give to another.

Such violence is wrong.

It also causes a tremendous amount of unforeseen consequences that are not readily apparent.

1) WHy support an incompetent man who hasn't handled the disasters appropriately. He sounds like aa teenager. Gotta kick some ass!

2)15 months too long. He distracted people from his voting record to get elected. He made damn sure people knew he was half black and an enigmatic speaker. He's unqualified for the office.

3)If you think that anyone else couldn't manage the disasters better then you are sorely mistaken. My 8 year old could.

a)Iraq-His policy is the same as Bush. Who didn't do such a great job over there

b)Afghanistan-A losing war? For the president to admit we are losing a war and allowing US soldiers to hear it is simply shameful. What we are doing there is so limited in scope victory or loss is impossible. If you look at our official objectives in Afghanistan they are being accomplished, which by difinition isn't losing.

c)NK/SK Obama is not reacting to NK with enough severity yet. He will. No president serving in wartime has ever lost an election for a 2nd term. I think he's holding off on NK for now in order to maximize the political value of the conflict. WHich puts the lives of Americans and all other democracy loving people of the world in danger.

d)Israel, Gaza,Hamas Flotillia- When he was trying to get elected Obama said Jereusalam should remain the undivided capitol of Israel. THen he renegged on that comment. He compared the plight of the palestinians to the holocaust. (Source AIPAC speech) As far as the flotillia, if the organizers were truly interested in providing humanitarian aid then they would have gone through proper channels rather than try to bust the blockade. Israel tried to get the flotillia to turn around numerous times. And exactly what are they short of in Gaza, there is so much humanitarian aid present there the flotillia was simply a stunt to put israel in a terrible position. Obama is a coward who looks at Israel through the same eyes as the Muslim world.

e)Iran- Pussin out here too. ahmadinejad wants to wipe us out. wipe israel out. wipe out all the zionists and capitalists. He's a muslim Hitler. ANd we are allowing them to go nuclear. Obamas pitiful attempt to slap iran on the hand will result in american deaths in the future.

f)Health reform? 63% of Americans want the healthcare act repealed. 70% of the country didn't support it. A man who is a servant of the people wouldn't implement something that the vast majority do not support. He did. He values his personal agenda more than the desires and needs of his voters.

g)The recession. He used the bailout to increase state control over banks and the manufacturing base. Not socialist at all. He further pushed us towards being a welfare state. Extending unemployment for 2 years. The only wword to describe his economic policies is STUPID.

h)Financial Reform. Kinda racist. Most of his financial reform has been directed to minorities who he feels are disproportionately hard hit by the recession. Some of his policies here are ok. Some are crackpot. He's taking away the need for people to be responsible for their own actions.

i)Gulf Oil. Sad Shameful.
The answer comes in the form of an obscure law called the Jones Act. A throwback to the days of American protectionism, the Jones Act is a piece of 1920s-era legislation that requires ships working in U.S. waters to be built here and crewed by Americans. This is why skimmers from the Persian Gulf, the heavy-duty ships that have proved themselves capable of cleaning up disasters like the one currently facing the Gulf, aren’t employed here doing the vital work for which they’re built. What’s more, it’s why they’re not on their way (which, considering the distance they’d have to cover, is in itself is no small feat).

The president, however, has the power to waive the Jones Act. His predecessor, the one so criticized for his failure to pull out all the stops in responding to Hurricane Katrina, did just that within days of that storm’s devastation. So why hasn’t President Obama taken the same measure? Also a 6 month ban on deep drilling? Between that and the economic impact of the spill could potentially cost 500000 jobs.

j)Energy reform- Yay solar, wind, green building, energy efficient, good gas mileage tax credits.

YOU ASK COULD I REASONABLY EXPECT ANYONE TO HANDLE THE SITUATION BETTER THAN OBAMA? YES. I could.

Multitasking isn't hard. As big as the government is now management of these few problems isn't challenging.

1) Iraq- They asked us to stay a while longer, ok. But they are going to pay for all of our assistance with discounted oil.

2)Afghanistan-We're going to scale it up and unleash the AMerican Military who are already present. Time to stop with the drones and use manpower. 19% of Afghanistan supports the Taliban. There are tens of thousands of Afghans willing to help. Scale it up.

3)North Korea, they committed an act of war against South Korea. Their leader is one of the most dangerous men in the world. It's time to eliminate their nuclear and chemical weapons capability and dipose if their dictator. With our theater missle defense we could eliminate the potential harm from their nukes while we engage. That nut doesn't need ICBM's. Quick decisive, might of the American Military strike.

4)Israel. 100% wholehearted support.

5)Iran. Easy to fix. Iran isn't allowed to manufacture gasoline. Gas blockade. And yes we are going in to eliminate the potential for nuclear missles and lift sanctions only if they elect an American ffiendly nonpsychotic leader.

6)I'm all for Health Reform, but not Obamacare. Repeal it and start from scratch.

7)The recession. Tax cuts on the wealthy and businesses. That's how you stimulate the economy.

8)Financial reform. Drop the extension of unemployment benefits. As far as food stamps, housing benefits, etc... You have 3 months to find work. And must be employed after that to recieve benefits.

9)Repeal the Jones act, accept international help. Take all of these people on unemployment and put em to work on BP's tab.

10) Energy reform- All of these countries that owe us money, it's time to collect. I'll take heavily discounted oil and artificially devalue the product. Even greater credits, not grants for solar and wind. Tax Credit for hybrids or biodiesel.

11)The border. For births, school enrollment, healthcare services, dmv, banking, require identifacation. If nonuscitizens INS immediately deports the lot and you permanently forfeit eligibility for legal immigration.

Also tax heavily companies that do their manufacturing outside of the US. Make it more financially feasible to keep these manufacturing jobs at home. Increase the sales tax on foreign goods while lowering for American Made products.

Establish a 2 term limit for all political offices.

Lastly I would ban straight men from wearing capri pants.

S&F for the thread.
Obama may turn out to be the one that many have spoken of for Centuries

He started his role with a ridiculous task. A nightmare situation and yet he still chose to go ahead. Yet people still choose to give him grief? Also the place of birth situation? The time will soon come where your birth place will have no relevance, it wont matter we are one, we are earth. The greedy mofo`s are the ones that seperated the people. They continue to do so today, like racism? Has anypne ever wondered if it still exists, like really? Or does the government thrive on this for backhanded funding for certain groups or funds etc that dont even exist?
Personally me, myself? i couldnt give a %^&* what colour or religion they are, theres another one religion
things will become clear. The only differences that matter to tptb is the ones that bring them in the coin.
I will ask you all a question that will prove my point exactly, no need to answer because i already know but here it is anyway, but you will get my point that racism is a manufactured situation that has escalated.

Do you genuinely dislike any other person because of their different religion or skin colour, do you really hate them to the extent that TPTB like to make you think you do.

Here`s something else for everyone to ponder on,
I bet most of you havent seen anything remotely similar to racism,,,,,,,apart from what you have seen on the tv or heard on the radio? Not first hand?

The top and bottom of it is this,

We hate them and they hate us sotospeak, but the reason why is????
Because THEY manipulate the situation to make some feel that way. THEY being TPTB.
Now back to Obama? Do you see what i mean Now?
Most of the crap was already there or imminent?
Heres another personal opinion of mine if i may?
I think that TPTB have got more than they had bargained for with Obama regardless of colour or religion. I think this President is capable of breaking more than the worlds situations, i think he has the capability to break everyone free. It wont be easy and many will hate him for it and the situations that will follow will of course be blamed on him.
"He`s still there" i guarantee that no matter what SHTF he wont quit. Some should be proud, some should continue and some must open their eyes.
If i was the President i would have sacked it in ages ago, too much shyt thanks i like the quiet peacefull life. I am able o do so because of people like him, yes i know we should be at a different time now but to make the best out of a bad situation im happy with my life, could be a hell of alot better but, could be a hell of alot worse.
Sorry if ive just totally trashed your thread but it had to be said. My personal opinion.

They lie, cheat, steal, kill, imprison wrongfully and we as a nation don't jack squat. We hide in our homes (which we no longer own) and quiver with fear what the almighty government might do. bullocks.

Nevermind the 10%+ unemployment rate, failed stimulus, healthcare wha??
So why does Obama need anyones support? The govt is supposed to be of the people, by the people, for the people. Don't put your cart before the horse.
