I'm no politician.. but in my opinion none of these problems should be that complicated. They are just made that way to keep their pockets lined.
1) Iraq - an ongoing war
Solution: Remove our troops. Hand over control to Iraq.
2) Afghanistan - a losing war
Solution: Remove our troops. Sometimes you can't win.
3) North Korea/South Korea - a potential war
Solution: Stop listening to KJI. This situation has been going on over there for decades.
4) Israel/Gaza/Freedom Flotilla - a highly toxic and dysfunctional mess
Solution: Stop giving aid to Israel. Stop putting Israel first over America.
5) Iran - a potential war potentially incl Syria, Lebanon and Turkey.
Solution: Follow the NNPT and actually ASSIST them in building their reactors. In exchange we would be able to monitor what is going on.
6) Health Reform (admittedly of the governments own making but bravely implemented resolve a problem )
Solution: Change the fact that insurance companies over bill and cost people fortunes, thus running up doctors fees.
7) An Economic Crash and debt in excess of $13 Trillion
Solution: STOP BAILING OUT INDUSTRIES. If they fail they fail. Perhaps they SHOULD FAIL.
7.1) Financial Reform
Solution: Remove the FED.
8) Gulf of Mexico oil disaster
Solution: Stop kissing BP's behind and accept the aid offers from other countries.
8.1) Energy Reform
Solution: Stop allowing oil companies to act with abandon. Stop allowing oil companies to buy up patents of clean energy products.
I know.. I know.. it CAN'T be as cut and dry as that.. can it? Why not?
I voted for Obama. Granted I would have preferred to vote for RP.. but thats besides the point. I bought into all of Obama's hype. His "yes we can" bs. But as the days and months went on... I saw him do nothing. He followed the same Bush procedures and in some situations went beyond them. He has handed billions to banks and corporations, has done nothing to solve the problems in Iraq and Afghanistan, has bent over for Israel on too many occasions, has basically told us we MUST buy health care, etc etc etc. Where is the change? 15 months many not be a lot. But he hasn't done ANYTHING in those 15 months.
Well.. thats not true. Didn't he just hand over a park in Arizona to Mexico?

I guess the average American feels the same way.
