I, from England but work in the states for the time being must and will always back my own government. I know that UK pensions are tied to BP and thats all the more reason to keep this company going. IF it goes bust then....goodbye to all those pensions which will then have to be footed by the UK tax payer for years to come.

The US has a history of causing far more disasters around the world that they neither take the time to correct or give adequate support for. THe US is responsible for more environmental issues and death of innocence than any other western world country. Thats a FACT!

As said before on various posts there have been various things that have caused worse a environmental impact.

No one is putting this into perspective and all the Americans can do as usual is finger point. That is largely down to their naivety and media generated lives.

Now we do a an oil spill that could be potentially quite destructive. However it has hardly caused the gross decay that the American people are saying. It could do, but has not yet. BP has made available a fund of 20 billion SO FAR and are going to add more.

At the moment noone has a genuine idea of how to clean up this mess and that includes the ever so innocent US gov.

And for those Americans who say, how would we in the UK like a huge leaking disaster off the coast of Britain.......may I remind you that we do....France.

So less of the arguing and maybe you might be able to assist with an idea that can sort the oil mess out.
