To everyone who has replied so far: a sincere THANK YOU! There's so many amazing songs, some I've heard and some not, but I do plan to listen to every one. In particular thanks to the user who recommended 'The Last Man' by Clint Mansell- I used to have The Fountain OS and it was one of the most beautiful and powerful scores I've ever heard, but it never occured to me to possibly use in a video, now it definitely has.......!

So many good classic rock choices as well, rock on!

And thanks to those who posted rap lyrics, I feel like a lot of times rap music is overlooked by 'music snobs' when in reality the lyrics can be very deep and thought-provoking. Another suggestion along those lines would be 'It's Like That' by Run DMC...classic.
