The first principle of understanding Biblical Gematria is that it must be verified by the Bible. The word in question here, COMPUTER, is Biblically verifiable.

Look at the text under consideration, Revelation 13:11-18:

One day, in the not-so-distant future, I would bet that we have glasses that function as a computer (forehead). And I would more-so bet that we have wrist-watches, rings, even fingernails? that operate as computers as well, and have the capabilities of everything your Mac/PC/Laptop can do right now.

I've also come to a similar conclusion after reading Revelations. I once came to the foolish conclusion that the Whore of Babylon was internet porn. Of course, the passage you referenced will be interpreted by many people and mean to them many things until the end of time. I think the passage means that you shouldn't allow yourself to be consumed in and further dominated by any object, person or ideal. The mark of the beast is what disintegrates your individuality, in essence your "spirit" as those two word are so liberally confused within the texts of the bible itself.

All this is your own personal paranoia mixed with religious delusions invoked by your pastor or a sense of loss of morality or confusion, and so you have chosen to confide in the stories of the bible as reality. Take a big step back and breath. Computers aren't evil. Now laugh. You are no longer burdened.

The problem here is that when people look up 666 Gematria they usually find occult websites that tend to only show words like Necromancy, Witchcraft, and Mark of Beast because they sound scary and evil. However, most of the time these sites never show that there are literally hundreds if not thousands of common words that also add up to 666 like bathrooms, skylight, potatoes, or housewife. People who want 666 Gematria to be true deliberately select only the words that work in this system and fit the propaganda and �conveniently� leave out all of the rest that do not fit into their conclusion.

Dude, "computer" refers to something that computes. That does not necessarily have to be an electronic device at all. The human brain for example could be a "computer."

The number 666, while it makes for a good tale, may not even be the right number. The Imperial number system is based on the number 10, while others are based on the number 6. That could leave it at, say, 1,000 for example.

I don't see too many people running away from the Chinese abacus, or implanting them in their hands and foreheads for that matter. That is a key element do not forget.
